What To Expect

Begin your Tahoe parasailing experience at the tour office in South Lake Tahoe, where you check in and head to the powerboat with your experienced crew. Parasailing rides are usually done in groups, so you may be paired with one or two other people, depending on the weight of all participants on the boat.

After you’re strapped securely into your harness, attached to a rope, your captain starts the boat and increases the speed, sending you high into the air. When you reach your desired height (chosen at checkout), depending on option selected when booking, feel your heart thumping as you look at the water far below and take in the surrounding mountains, forest, and lakeside scenery.

Return to the marina at the end of the experience.

An individual must weigh at least 40 lbs and no more than 300 lbs to participate
A minimum of 2 people are needed to book this product
Parasailing is done in tandem; singles may be paired with another person or two depending on weight
*Customers must call local supplier to set up parasailing time at least 24 hours in advance (subject to availability).

You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.

For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time.
If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.

Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.
This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.
