Learn about Amish culture in Pennsylvania's Lancaster County on this tour and dining experience. We enjoyed meeting the Amish wife and wished we could communicate more with the children. We bought items from Emma such as her cookbook and homemade peanut butter-very nice addition to our tour.

Our tour guide was awesome. He told us all about the families & areas we drove thru. At the home with our meal he & the host were telling us about the Amish & answered all our questions. We learned so much and it was an awesome tour. We would definitely do again & would highly recommend this tour.

Our authentic Amish meal was a wonderful inside peek at the Amish culture. Our hostess Emma served a fabulous meal and we loved chatting with her 2 young sons. Guests at the table included a Swedish family and many others from across the US. Dale, our tour guide was a true local, providing local history and good laughs! I highly recommend this tour.

What an amazing experience eating in an Amish home! The food was delicious. The hostess, Sara, was soooo friendly as were her children, the house was beautiful, and our tour guide, Dale, was sooooo interesting and knowledgeable. We learned to much and HIGHLY recommend this as part of your Lancaster/Amish experience!

Tour guide was knowledgeable, friendly, accommodating, and respectful of Amish culture and traditions. We visited a wonderful Amish family who cooked a warm and DELICIOUS meal. The Amish host family answered all of our questions, allowed us to tour their farm and were very welcoming to us. I would definitely recommend this tour! My friends and husband also had the best experience. <3

Our tour bus driver was knowledgeable and friendly. He knew our name and where we were from before we even introduced ourselves. After a very educational 45 min ride to reach our destination, we were introduced to the lovely family that hosted us for lunch. The lunch was wonderful and obviously prepared with great care. Our hostess was warm and did not mind our questions. With full tummy's we were then able to explore the barn and horse stable where one of the daughters showed us the family buggy and explained its use. This was a wonderful experience. One I would certainty recommend and experience again.

We shared this experience with our family and everyone loved this trip. Ivan, Silvia and Mary Grace were wonderful hosts. Our lunch was very tasty and we enjoyed seeing there garden and Mary Grace was so cute showing us the chickens and the eggs, etc. The guys liked finding out about the products they made in the welding shop.

This was truly one of the nicest experiences I’ve had! Starting with the tour, our guide Mike was very knowledgeable and open to answer all and any questions we had for him. He offered lots of interesting information about the many aspects of the Amish history, community and lifestyle. Thank you Mike!
Once we were done with the tour, we arrived to our destination and met by a very welcoming Amish family and their cute dog. The house is beautiful and sunny which added to the already friendly atmosphere. The meal served was delicious consisting of potatoes, meat loaf, sting beans and candied beets. Followed by dessert which like the meal was delicious. It was a pleasure to talk to the host’s two daughters Ana and Marian, they were very lively and open. They introduced us to their animals and answered more questions about school, friends and ways they spend their free time. Although I felt a bit shy, the family’s casual and friendly energy really helped to soften the vibe and make us feel comfortable.
Overall this was great and I will definitely be back for another tour and family visit.. so If you’re having doubts about booking this trip..don’t think twice, you will not regret it!

This was one of the best experiences my husband and I had in Lancaster. Mike, our tour guide, was very knowledgeable about the Amish families in the area. On our way to the Amish home, he shared information about their way of life and history and answer many questions in a very honest and respectful way. The Amish hosting family was amazing. They let us feel like they were hosting friends and shared with us a bountiful home cooked meal. They cooked mash potatoes, beef, chicken, carrots. The dessert was some sort of chocolate cake with local made ice cream. Yummy! We also enjoyed watching their two little boys helping mom with serving the table and later playing around. The conversation with the Amish family was very casual and pleasant. What an enriching experience! This is a must do tour in Lancaster.
