5 star rating: Highly Recommended January 2016

Unfortunately I have no pictures of this, however, it was my favourite thing of the whole holiday.
I can't swim very well, and for the first 10 minutes of being in the water with the wetsuit on I was panicking a bit.
The waves were coming in and out and knocking me off balance and sweeping my legs away so I'd fall over and I was panicking because I wasn't used to it. But, after a few times of dipping your head in the water and breathing through the apparatus you will get used to it. The deeper in the water you are the less the waves will affect you.
Once you are used to breathing underwater you will go down on your belly and lay on the sand, from there you crawl across the sand following the instructor around to a depth of 6 metres, then crawl your way back to the shore.
You will see lots of fish swimming past you, sometimes entire schools of 20 or 30 fish. They swim really close to you, some will swim around in your air bubbles and follow you.
Just make sure you ask your instructor to take pictures for you. They have underwater cameras and can do that for you. The reason I don't have pictures is because they forgot after I asked, disappointed about that, but its ok, because the dive itself is great. Once you are down in the water you will feel very relaxed. I could have stayed down there for hours as it was so relaxing.

A few things to be aware of. The oxygen tank and equipment weigh about 20 kilos, and you have to wear a 6kilo belt to keep you weighed down in the water, after some time crawling around the sand this will start to hurt your back slightly, but not too bad.
Oh, be careful not to roll over on your back because it's hard to get back up, but your instructor will help you :
Highly recommended!
