The tour was wonderful. The guide and bus driver were really great with everyone and answered all questions we had. One thing I could suggest is choice of places to eat. Very disappointed in Iron Horse. Food was awful and price was high for what we got. The food choices on the second night was almost non existant. Other than that I would rate this a 5 for the visit to the national parks. The time they allowed us to visit was just perfect. All in All a wonderful trip
My kids and I scheduled a trip to Vegas with plans for a 3-day summer camp that fell through. Since a full week in Vegas is too long for me, I started looking for interesting places within driving distance to fill those days, and that's when I found this tour.
I've never done a packaged tour before we're more do-it-yourselfers, but I have to say that this turned out to be the PERFECT way to see so much in so little time. I loved getting to sit back and read vs. doing the driving myself, and our guides knew the perfect places the stop and the right amount of time to be in each one. Plus, we got to learn a bit of history about each place we visited.
Everyone was very helpful and accommodating, and I felt like my kids were very welcome even though they were the only kids on the trip. The Grand Canyon and Zion were amazing, but our favorite stops ended up being Lake Powell me and Bryce Canyon both kids. I'm not sure I would have picked either of these places to go see if we were driving it on our own, so I'm very grateful we ended up picking this tour and creating such amazing memories!
Wonderful experience. One suggestion. Please make gathering spot at Luxor hotel more clearly. Web page instruction is not what is done exactly. Without hotel security help, it could have been more difficult.
Ingrid, Sam, and Marco were very good. Kept the team busy through the three days. Amazing lications covered.
This trip was fabulous - Manuel the guide was everything I had previously read about him in reviews - highly knowledgeable and extremely professional
I booked the trip because the idea of a small group appealed to me and it worked beautifully - never felt rushed - good fun had by all and Manuel on hand for any information we required
Was very impressed with the standard on overnight accommodation
Thank you for the wonderful experience and the holiday of a lifetime!!!
I have already recommended this trip to friends
My husband and I took this tour so we wouldn't have to do the driving. We were visiting from the East and felt it was the best way to go. It sure was!! A small group 9 was fabulous and we got to know everyone. We didn't feel rushed, had enough time to see everything we wanted and plenty of time to take pictures etc. I can't possibly say enough about our tour guide Ingrid. She was so knowledgeable, very personable and a lot of fun. She made you feel like you had know her for years. Our driver Irene was awesome. If you ever get the chance to take this tour....PLEASE DO. Plus, if you are lucky enough to get Ingrid and Irene as the dynamic duo.....your trip will exceed your expectations.
This tour is one of the top notch offers from Viator. It has many stops along the way, particularly those involving Route 66 and its history. There is enough time in the parks to have a good sense of their majesty, even though it rained, then hailed, then snowed while we drove in the minibus during the last hour at the Grand Canyon along the road to Page for the evening. Weather was perfect, otherwise. The tour was made so excellent because our guide named Dorit had a strong personality with lots of knowledge about the places we visited and allowed us to enjoy time on our own to explore what we wanted. Be sure to ask for Dorit as the tour guide when you go! She is the best! The motels are clean and centrally located in their towns so that going to a restaurant for dinner is easy since you are on your own for that meal. You cannot go wrong with the time or the money you need to enjoy these three national parks and all the places in between on the itinerary.
The 3 day National Park tour from Las Vegas was absolutely amazing! Our guide Ingrid and our driver Danny were very knowledgable and made sure we made to all the stops in time. There's a lot of driving involved-we drove over 1,000 miles by the end of it but its well worth it. The sights are amazing and I really felt like I was in a different world. Each park has its own uniqueness and beauty. Highly recommend it for people who want to see multiple parks in a short amount of time.
Fantastic Tour from start to finish. Great guide kept us entertained, so much crammed in to such a small amount of time but it does not seem rushed. places visited are amazing. A must do if you have the time.
The tour was amazing! A great way to see the canyon and national parks. Alex was a great tour guide...would recommend his tour.
Great views, great trip, great fun.
Manuel from Italy was great, had tons of Italians to look after but still made time for the two English speakers.
Lots of travel but great, go eat and drink at the Damn Bar the first night.
We had a wonderful time on our 3-day tour. We had a lovely time with Manuel our tour guide and our driver Mr. Chen. We couldn't find fault with anything. The tour was very interesting and entertaining. We had fellow passenger from all over the world which made the tour and time together even more interesting. I would highly recommend this to family and friends going to Las Vegas.
Great. Safe driver. Knowledgeable tour guide Manuel, funny, caring, responsible.
Places visited were breathtakingly beautiful. Only negative: bad, weak coffee in hotel breakfasts. Having Italians on board, we needed good strong coffee.
Three full days of concentrated tours got us big bangs for our bucks!
This was a wonderful tour. Manuel was a great guide. The best value of any tour we have gone on.
This was an excellent family trip. We saw so much in the time we had, tour guides were wonderful. I recommend this to anyone who is looking for a great national park tour!
I must admit , this was one of the best tours in my experience. It was so smartly planned, we always had just enough time to enjoy it at every point, still never in a rush, technical stops happening at the right time at the right places, the choice of the hotels and restaurants was very satisfying . Emanuel is a great guide and a great guy, very helpful and informative, giving all the possible useful tips and managing the group with perfect humor and social skills. Jonathan the driver is one of the nicest persons ever. And as for the parks .. Well, they are breathtaking, beautiful and indescribable - you just must see . It was more than worth every penny . I strongly recommend it.
I enjoyed every minute of this tour. It was so well organised, the guides were great especially our leader Siah, the scenery is breathtaking and the accommodation was much better than I had expected. We were very lucky with the weather, which was not too warm, so we could happily hike at Bryce Canyon and Zion. I have no hesitation in recommending this tour.
Well worth the money, guides were fab, driver friendly and helpful, sites were amazing, over night hotels were better than expected, food was great, very reasonably priced, highly recommended.
This tour is an amazing opportunity to see 3 national parks in 3 days! Here are the pros/cons:
Pros: The tour guide Manuel who gives the tour in Italian and English is fantastic! He is funny, patient, informative and attentive to each tourist. He was very accommodating when we had to make a special request, and when you're on a bus for 6-7 hours a day, it's great to have a good-natured and charming person like Manuel to make the journey interesting.
The bus driver, Greg, was great as well. He's a safe driver and sells water for 1 a bottle, so take advantage of that!
Day 1:The Grand Canyon is breathtaking. We were able to spend time at the South Rim and we also had about an hour to visit the Desert View. Overnight at the Clarion Motel in Page, AZ was fine--typical continental breakfast provided.
Day 2: Morning boat ride on Lake Powell was more fun than we expected. Everyone rushes to the top deck of the boat, but if it's sunny--you will burn--outside of the lower deck was actually the best spot--full range of views for photos and some shade!
Bryce Canyon is beyond words. It's like being on another planet. We hiked the entire Navajo Loop trail and it was worth it! Most people just walk halfway down the hoodoos and then return the same way....you will miss out if you do this!
Day 3: Zion --- a beautiful landscape---hike the Emerald Pool Trails...wade in the river...it's a nice laid back day.
Cons: 1.The Days Inn Motel that we stayed in on Day 2 in Kanab, Utah was awful! Mold, bugs, horrible smell, unhelpful staff....Viator really needs to find an alternative---this place was filthy.
2. There should be more flexibility for choosing restaurants. Lunch on Day 2 is very mediocre we all had to eat at the same place in Kanab and lunch on day 3 is at a chain restaurant that had a 30 min. wait. I recommend you don't wait in line since you can find much better places to eat across the street!
Well arranged tour. Great choices of the three canyons and the two hotels and great recommendations of the restaurants for lunches and dinners.
I love this small multi culture group tour. We talk, sing and share our cultures. Bryce Canyon is amazing beautiful even in a rainy day. Zion canyon trail walk take me close to the nature scene
Just as it said on the tin. Great Guide who covered everything with good humour and knowledge. Hotels were OK and meals were well advised. No complaints at all, our expectations were met following all the pre trip promotion.
It was a wonderful way to see all these fantastic places, we could not have driven it and seen it all. Well done . Sue from Australia
