Your Las Vegas helicopter tour to the Grand Canyon begins with VIP treatment as you’re picked up from your hotel by limousine. At the heliport just off Las Vegas Blvd, board your A-Star helicopter for your aerial adventure to the Grand Canyon’s West Rim, flying over Lake Mead and the Hoover Dam on the way while you listen to recorded narration via provided headphones.

Land on a canyon bluff 3,200 feet (960 meters) below the rim, and hop out of the helicopter for a glass of Champagne and a basket full of snacks under an American Indian Ramada shelter. While you soak up the incredible scenery, feel free to ask your pilot any questions you have about the canyon or the helicopter. Then make the return journey back to Vegas, flying low over the Las Vegas Strip for a bird’s-eye view of the glitzy resorts and casinos. After landing, hop in your limousine for hotel drop-off.

When booking, you have several departure times to choose from, as well as the option to upgrade to an EC-130 helicopter, which provides more leg room and allows for more weight per seat.

Maximum capacity per helicopter is six people plus the pilot.

Pick up from the hotel was 20 minutes late with no apology from the driver. The driver was rude and just grunted.Customer service at the airport was poor with unfriendly and disinterested staff. The pilot, Tom, was very friendly and knowledgeable. Picnic not worthy of being called that...consisted of a small packet of dried fruit, a slice of cheese and a packet of brevit biscuits. Small plastic glass of champagne which we never had time to drink as pilot told us we had to go even though we spent less than 30 minutes at canyon.

Brilliant pilot, brilliant trip, brilliant service! Highly recommend!I was nervous about the helicopter ride and feeling travel sick, but there was absolutely nothing to worry about if you have the same reservations. The breakfast and champagne was a nice little touch too. Thank you!

This was an amazing experience! Our helicopter pilot was nice and explained many items on the way over and back. It was not scary...just beautiful!

I booked this trip because of the reviews. Several of my employees and wives went to celebrate a three year reunion. What made it extra special was that one of the wives spent many Army deployments in Afghanistan on board helicopters. This was to be her first ride out side the military with her new husband who had never been on a helicopter. I told them how the six of us would have champagne in the Canyon enjoying each others company. Alice, the meanest, rudest representative told us we could not ride together because weight restrictions. But not to worry we would be taking off together and landing in the Canyon at the same time. We all walked together to two different helicopters where they substituted two passengers for two of ours, so 6 and 6. (go figure) Just as we were to take off they called our passengers back into the office and to our chagrin the two in our original group took off to the Canyon. The two substitute passengers they paired us with were taken from us and were asked to go with a new group and immediately took off. The remaining four of us are waiting in the building, 30 minutes later they paired us with three more people for a total of 7 people in our helicopter. The original weight issue was a lie. We went from 6 passengers to 7. Finally we left. Not a word was said by any passenger, not even the three people we did not know, at the Canyon, or back from the Canyon. As we landed in the Canyon our other two passengers were taking off from the Canyon. That was a bust. When we returned the ex Army passenger and her husband went to the counter to purchase a picture of themselves taken in front of the helicopter prior to take off and they asked to pay for our picture as well. The Company said no picture was taken of the four of us before flight. Bust again. These people lied about the six of us flying together, the pictures, having champagne in the Canyon and to top it off the limo driver back to our hotel told us it was out fault because we did not complain. Once we made it back to the hotel he would not unlock the doors to let us out he kept asking us about the trip and why we had such a bad time. Finally, after several minutes of yelling back and forth he unlocked the doors and we left. Only use these people if you are not planning something special. They will lie to you, ruin your memory and laugh at you behind your back. What a way to run a business. Thank you Alice for ruining my memories.

Amazing trip, we could not fly over the strip due to the President being in town, not the operators fault and they let us know as soon as possible. Highly recommended. Our pilot - Michelle - was great.
