If your in Las Vegas do this trip. Yes its a long way, you have some good stops along the route, see the hover dam and even go on a very small stretch of Route 66, stopping for souvenirs on Route. Lunch I thought was quite good, the guides didnt think so, but I was more than happy with the food we had, each to their own I guess.
Grand Canyon is awesome, if you can do the walk then highly recommend you do it, every turn it look different, its truly worth the 5 hours on the coach to get there, its a long long day but you will remember it forever.
Tour was incredible!
Don't have a single bad word to say about this tour.
Derek is the best tour guide you could hope to ask for. Highly knowledgable and provides plenty of laughs.
Loved every second of the trip.
Great Bus Tour! It is exactly as stated in Viator. It is long drive but everyone needs to see the Grand Canyon National Park. I never get enough so I will be taking my kids next year. It's so beautiful and you see why it's one of the Best Places to see in the World! You also get some rest coming back and then you are ready for Las Vegas at night! I wish they could add an overnight to this Tour if the price was reasonable. The day trip Bus Tour was very affordable!
This tour went above and beyond our expectations. The Grand Canyon was absolutely beautiful, but what made the trip was our driver guide Sami. He really made the journey a special and memorable experience. So grateful for this experience and would highly recommend.
We had a fantastic day visiting the grand canyon. Sami our guide was excellent taking us on a few extra little excursions like a small stop at route 66 for photo opportunities. This tour is well worth it. We were able to walk the rim at our leisure with time to spare
Tour was fabb.2nd time ive been to south rim.
Very long day..
But worth it..
Breakfast snack is poor..
We stopped off at a italian place for buffet lunch.
Are driver derek...in the love bus was 1st class
The tour guide was great and it was an awesome experience. It was a long day for sure but it was informative and entertaining. The Grand Canyon is what it is. It is beautiful and amazing
Very well organised with a friendly driver. It was a long day but so worth it. The Grand Canyon was amazing and colours unimaginable.
Excellent value for money trip. Grant the coach driver/tour guide and his wife were very informative and friendly.
I was very dissatisfied with the driver who was scheduled to pick us up and take us to the tour bus. Sami Sarkis our tour driver was very pleasant, friendly, professional, courteous and kept us informed and happy making the trip enjoyable. The south rim Grand Canyon and Hoover Dam was spectacular.
Excellente excursion.
I had a great time. I have to admit it was very long but worth it if you never have gone to the south rim. Very funny tour guide. I forgot his name. Lol if your going with your girlfriend for the first time, take her. It will be a once in a lifetime experience. Like my girlfriend experienced.
This was a long but amazing day! We were picked up at 6.30 am from a nearby hotel, given a snack and water on the bus then a short ride to the Hoover Dam. Less than an hour. Lunch was an Italian Buffet at a restaurant en route to the Grand Canyon which was actually very good! Pizza, pasta, meatballs, sausage, salad, vegetables. Our bus driver/guide did an excellent job with safe driving and plenty of information. First stop in the Grand Canyon is Mathers Point. Then you can either walk to the next stop about 2 miles along the rim of the canyon or take the bus. Its an easy walk and well worth the effort as the views are spectacular. We were at the Grand Canyon for about 3 hours. I was lucky enough to bump into a group of long haired horned sheep on my walk.
Despite being the cheapest trip we could find to the Grand Canyon this was one of the highlights of our holiday. Make no mistake this is a long day but Sammy our driver was an absolute star. He was knowledgeable, interesting and funny and helped the day to pass quickly. As well as spending time at the Hoover Dam and the spectacular Grand Canyon there was also a couple of stops on the famous Route 66, a must for car enthusiasts. Brilliant value and highly recommended.
No words can describe Grand Canyon and its become better when your guide is like ours. Sorry, buddy i forgot your name. Driver & Guide was full of information around Canyon and Hoover Dam and all other spots so 5 stars for you especially. Like i mention no words can describe the Grand Canyon Beauty and its colors. Its one of the best places i have ever visited and must recommend to everyone who visits Nevada.
All was great, very well organized, the guide Derek was nice and funny, lunch was also very good. Three hours walking on Grand Canyon rim wasnt enough though, its too beautiful and you just want to stare at it all day :
This is my first trip with Viator, it was recommended by a friend who had used it for their Europe trip. The experience was amazing, it was beyond my expectation. The tour was well organized, I received a text and email confirmation for the pickup location one day before the tour. And surprising breakfast was provided too, which wasn't mentioned as part of the description when I booked it. They gave us packaged cinnamon rolls and nutrition bars on the bus. And they took us to a local Italian buffet in Williams on our way to the Grand Canyon, although the description says it was boxed lunch. The lunch was great, it was buffet style so all you can eat with unlimited soft drinks, they have pizza, meatball, spaghetti, salad, cookies.... And our tour guide was very friendly too, his name is Paul, he is knowledgeable but not very talkative which was good because it was a very long drive so you had good time to relax and he showed us some movies to kill the time while on the bus. And they gave us a map for the Grand Canyon and a pamphlet/itinerary for the day which outlines the stops we are going to make and breaks, on the pamphlet it tells you the suggested tip amount, but when Paul dropped us off the bus he said tip is not required, which is really nice as compared to another tour I did, the guide there made it sounds like required and that their wage entirely depend on it and didn't tell us the suggested amount so I had no clue how much to give. This tour is amazing, I would definitely recommend it!
Highly recommend this tour, especially if it's your first time visiting the Grand Canyon! Bus pickup was on time in the morning. Breakfast pastry, buffet lunch and bottled water are included in the package. The ride was comfortable and the Grand Canyon was amazing. Definitely a good value package!
It's a great way to get to the Grand Canyon if you don't have transportation yourself. It comes with great stops and even the mandatory stops don't come with any pressure...:- We had Sami as bus driver, best bus driver ever!!
Great value for the tour. We took the tour mid October. We stopped at Hoover Dam and took some pictures. We stopped again for lunch and had a nice surpriseinstead of sandwiches as advertised, we had a hot meal. We had enough time to take a beautiful walk along the Grand Canyon, has enough time to take plenty of pictures and relax a little. On the way back, we stopped at McDonalds for a quick bite. The driver was able to slow down as we passed by Hoover Dam to take pictures at night and then arrived at our destination safe and sound. The driver was a lot of fun and gave us bits and pieces of history and facts along the way. Unfortunately, I dont remember his name but hes Hawaiian. In the morning, we were given water and pastries on the morning. When we boarded the bus for Vegas, the driver had cold bottled water waiting for us. The bus was clean and comfortable. We watched documentaries on way to the Canyon and movies on way back to Vegas. I would like to appeal to future travelers to be conscious of the time allotted for each stop. The driver gave a specific time to be back in the bus, but a few people didnt care. This caused for the tour to take longer to complete. This is a long trip for the passengers and specially for the driver who is responsible for our safety and well being.
The Grand Canyon National Park Bus Tour South Rim was fabulous as my sister, friend, and I were afforded the opportunity to view the Hoover Dam, Lake Mead, and the Grand Canyon at a reasonable rate. The lunch buffet at Little Italy was delicious. Best of all, the driver was hilarious and knowledgeable about the areas.
The tour is amazing, it has everything highly recommended. The tour guy was super friendly and funny. I went with my family and we enjoying the Hoover Dam, lunch at the Williams town and then finally Grand Canyon!! The views are amazing, and the time we have on each attraction is good enough to have a walk inside the place. Great trip!!
Ride the Love bus with Derek.
A very long day but well worth it, the dam is unbelievable and the Canyon has sights not to be missed.
