Your bus tour of the Grand Canyon’s South Rim starts with hotel pickup before 8am. Your tour offers hotel pickup from select Las Vegas hotels in downtown and on the Strip.
Once you’ve boarded your bus for the day, your guide drives you toward the Grand Canyon National Park. Listen to commentary along the way about the landmarks and history of the area.
Next up is an hour break for lunch, and your guide provides you with a meal voucher for you to use.
Afterward, arrive at the national park, and enjoy free time exploring the South Rim at your own pace. You’ll have a little over an hour to wander around the Mather Point and then another hour at Bright Angel Lodge lookout point. Visit the historic El Tovar Lodge, or hike the trails near the canyon’s edge—the choice is up to you.
When your time at the Grand Canyon is over, head back to your bus for the return drive to Las Vegas.
The South Rim Grand Canyon Tour is one of the most breathtaking tours. The Scenic views of the Canyon was unbelievable and amazing! It is a long day but well worth the trip. The tour guide/driver was great we got to see the Hoover Dam in all its splendor at night on the way back to Vegas quite extroadinary. I would recommend this tour to anyone. You will have an unforgettable experience.
Be prepared for a very long bum numbing bus trip. Whilst the views were spectacular once we arrived, we really didn't feel like it was worth all the hype when only experiencing it from the top looking down. It costs 200 p/p once there to add on a pink jeep tour which takes you down into the valley. If you are cashed up, this would probably be a worthwhile add on. Otherwise, a much shorter and equally amazing view can be obtained, if you are in Australia - NSW, from Echo Point 3 sisters and Govetts leap in the Blue Mountains. If you want a ground-up canyon experience. Katherine Gorge in the NT is amazing.
This tour was great! The driver that was also the facilitator was excellent! Unfortunately we seen the Hoover Dawn at night and we're not able to step out of the bus but the driver manage to drive slowly for us. So we we're able to take pictures. At Grand Canyon we also have detour to take so not able to see the Grand Canyon from certain area but again our driver manage this by allowing us more time in the surrounding of the Visitor Center. This tour was awesome and worth every penny.
Russell our driver did an amazing job!
The tour was amazing.....great driver too.Unfortunately we just passed the HooverDam at night but the driver still let us take a picture of The Hoover Dam from the moving Bus. Lunch also included which was good and I love it
We were picked up at 6am and dropped off at 10pm in Las Vegas for two hours of amazing views.......but unsure if it is worth the time!
Better to actually stay at south rim or close by. We also did the west rim tour and a much more relaxing travel time.
Tour would've been better if was as promised! The bus was supposed to pickup at 6:15, didn't come until 7! Get to the depot, had to stand in line to check in. They need to make this process faster. Didn't go to visit Hoover Dam, drove by only. Had to switch buses 3rd time to get back to our hotel.
Not impressed. we didn't even get to see the Hoover Dam, the driver decided to skip it. Instead we just drove pass on our way back to Vegas. In Grand Canyon, we added the pink jeep tour for 99 and they said it gonna take up to another 2 stop points. However, we only had a total of less than 30 minutes of seeing Grand Canyon. The driver only gave us 5 mins to see the Canyon, take a pic and off we go. Would not recommend this tour!
