Great day, beautiful ride and terrific guide. We would all do it again.
What an awesome guide! Easy trail and mostly downhill. Not tricky at all. Very good!
Wonderful bike tour! The best sights. Our tour guide was very patient. The best part was taking lunch at the park with goats from the mountain!!
We did this tour as part of our honeymoon in September 2015. From start to finish the tour was very professional run. We got picked up right on time, and went to Boulder City were the tour starts, there was only 4 of us on the tour. We did a quick safety brief with our tour guide Gary, who was very approachable and answered all questions we asked during the day. We picked our lunch up and started the ride, the views were spectacular from start to feel finish. We biked down an old railway line and stopped off halfway down and climbed some of the rocks to get a better view of the lake and Gary gave us an insight of all he knew as well as his personal experiences in the area. We arrived at the Hoover Dam and parked our bikes up, we spent about 30 minutes at the dam taking photos and learning more about the dam before heading back in the van to have our lunch in a park in Boulder City.
I would highly recommend this to anyone and they will cater for any ability on the bikes, you see so much more than you would on a tour bus or a helicopter. Thank you.

Great tour! The ride to Hoover Dam is a great way to experience the area. The ride starts on River Mountain Loop trail which is totally paved and easy to ride with only a few manageable climbs and beautiful views as you get close to Lake Mead. Down at the lake you switch to a gravel trail that takes you through the old railroad tunnels and stunning landscape along the trail. At the end of the trail we hiked over the O'Callaghan-Tilman bridge and then back down and over the Dam. Our guide was knowledgeable about the area, trails and the dam. He carried plenty of cool water for us and even as hot as the day was it was easy to stay hydrated. We ended the day with lunch in a nearby park watching mountain goats graze and enjoying conversation with the tour group. It was a great way to explore Hoover Dam and one of the highlights of my Vegas week!
This was a birthday treat and whilst I did doubt my sanity at times biking in 100F termperatures, the guide Scott was excellent and ensured we were well looked after, had plenty of stops to rest and took on lots of water and energy bars. Most of this bike ride is on the level or down hill so great fun at times, with only a few climbs that required a bit of effort! The scenery as you would expect was fantastic and the lunch more than earmed when we arrived at the Hoover Dam. Great trip, well organised and worth the tour.
This was great fun. Really mostly downhill. Paved or wide gravel track. Tunnels. HIstoric perspective. Great views. Well informed and funny guide Gary. Good food.
very well run tour, easy bike riding with great views and with a very informative guide.
We had a great day! This is a wonderful way to see Hoover Dam. Our guide Scott was terrific, very knowledgable, and made it fun!
great way to see the dam and the area aroun the dam guide was excelent
What a great adventure! Our guide, Neil, was super! The weather was not the normal Vegas sunshine, but we all injoyed it none the less. Neil was very knowledgeable of the area and showed us some really cool cactuses that were along the way (we would have missed them).
Neil picked us up at our hotel as planned and shared his local knowledge as we trekked to the bike shop to get outfitted. The trail was relatively smooth and mostly downhill. Once we reached Hoover Dam, Neil pulled our lunches from his backpack and we ate overlooking the dam and O'Callahan - Tillman Bridge. After a great lunch, Neil walked us across the dam and showed us some of the structure before we headed to the O'Callahan - Tillman Bridge to once again overlook the dam from on high. On the way back to the bike shop, Neil showed us around Boulder City before dropping off the bikes and giving us a ride back to our hotel. This was a first class adventure. It was great to meet the folks at the bike shop and especially spend the day with a top notch guide, Neil. We will definitely do this again when the weather is better. We might even try the river kayaking trip next time!
excellent, everything was spot on from hotel pick up, the ride, the guides knowledge and the other riders
A good enjoyable trip made brilliant by a fantastic guide Neil who was amazing . Worth the money
Awesome tour! Neil was very laid back and we had a very enjoyable 14 mile bike ride with plenty of stops to sight see and hydrate along the way.
We had a group of 8, the scenery on the ride was beautiful, the guides were great and very informative.it was easy biking, no one should be discouraged if they haven't done much biking.
It was Awesome! Our tour guide Daniel was very informative and patient with us the whole time. It was beautiful the entire ride.
We really enjoyed this day trip. The trail was great, very scenic, and the tunnels were exciting. The supplied lunch was really good and my food allergies were well accommodated. The tour guide was full of interesting facts, answered all questions. Great trip!!! The Big Horn Sheep were great.
Our guide, Mac provided us with a superb tour! We were picked up at our hotel right on time, then delivered to the shop where we were briefed and fitted for gloves and helmets. At the trail head we were fully fitted for the bikes and given an overview of what to expect on the tour. Mac carried a (large) backpack with water, first aid gear, parts and snacks. He maintained a running commentary on points of interest and was obviously well versed on not only the history of the area we were traversing but on plants and animals we encountered as well. I cannot recall a single question that Mac wasn't able to answer to our satisfaction. My wife and I would both rate this tour as being thoroughly excellent. The equipment was great, the scenery was beautiful and the ride was never beyond our capabilities. This was a totally new experience for both of us as neither of us had previously been in the desert nor had we ever visited Hoover Dam. The Dam tour was sort of separate as Mac didn't accompany us with the Dam having it's own guides. The picnic lunch was very good. We thoroughly enjoyed this tour but honestly, having Mac as our guide was the high point of the trip. Kind, intelligent, warm and well informed, his skill and enthusiasm were what pulled everything together. Well done to all involved! Thank you, Mac!

This was a superb trip (except for one bit) it was just our family, three of us and Daniel our guide. Right from the start with being contacted on when we were to be picked up and what food we would like right to the end it was so well organised.
It was an early start but as it got so hot in the afternoon I can understand that. We rode from Boulder through the storm drains, cycle paths and the construction tunnels. all the way Daniel pointed out things of interest and explained the area.
He kept a real good eye on us and if one of us dropped back he would drop back as well and check we were ok. He also carried the cold water which was really needed.
The one down point was that with 200 yards to go I came of (embarasing as Im the moutaIn biker) completly my fault I cut my arm a little but Daniel was superb had all the medical equipment and was so professional.
all in all this was brilliant and really can not stress how well organised and freindly Awesome adventures are.
If we go again to Vegas I would do this again and recomend it.
Antonio was a great tour lead and gave detailed facts about the area, wildlife and location. The ride itself was all downhill so very easy, although some grit areas required a little more effort to maintain speed. The tunnels provided some respite against the sun but plenty of stops were offered as required for breaks and photos. The scenery was beautiful and we were given ample time to take the tour at the hoover dams standard charge and then had time as required to walk the actual dam itself. We were even taken up to the bridge to see the higher views which were impressive. Antonio took particular care and attention around safety, bike comfort, carrying a massive bag of water in addition to our individually provided canisters and a huge bag of healthy snack bars. He also took care to match the rides pace with what we were comfortable with. If we had time, I would have liked to book up for their kayaking having had such a great day out mountain biking.

Best trip we did tour guide was excellent the views wow the biking was easy and the area great. This tour is not rushed we walked over the dam and up to the new bridge great views. I would do this tour again and say it is a must.
This is a really nice way to see the country around Boulder City and Hoover Dam.Our guide, Neil, was very knowledgeable about the fauna and flora. We were lucky that the wildflowers were out in bloom. The ride itself is nearly all downhill, so not really a challenge for me, but Neil and I still had fun doing little jumps and in the causeway. The path has a very good surface, and the ride through the 5 tunnels was great. This is a great way to see Lake Mead and Hoover Dam for families too. Recommend.
I went on this tour with 8 classmates from a college reunion. We had a. Wide range of biking experience, but everyone had great fun. It was a mix of dirt road, single track, paved/unpaved bike path. I would say 90% of it was flat or downhill, so it was not very tiring. The guide was friendly and knowledgeable, and he did a great job accommodating the wide variety of experience and fitness in the group. The provided lunch was reasonablbly good as well. Also a pleasant surprise, the bikes were in very good condition and well adjusted. I would recommend this to anyone who wants a fun, scenic, and only moderately strenuous adventure.
