Traveler pickup is offered

Your dinner cruise on Lake Mead takes you aboard the Desert Princess, a spaciously equipped paddle-wheeler. Start your evening tour with hotel pickup in Las Vegas and make a photo stop at the iconic ‘Welcome to Las Vegas’ sign during the approximate 30-minute drive to the Lake Mead National Recreation Area.

On arrival, you’re welcomed aboard the steamboat by a 10-member crew. Pose for a classic photo op and enjoy a complimentary glass of sparkling wine. Then take a seat inside one of two climate-controlled enclosed decks, head to the top deck or stroll the open promenade to the Captain's Bridge.

During your cruise, cast your eyes over the unique landscape surrounding Lake Mead and marvel at the mighty Hoover Dam towering above. Consider this awesome engineering feat as your vessel passes the Mike O'Callaghan–Pat Tillman Memorial Bridge, part of the Hoover Dam Bypass Project.

When it’s time for dinner, enjoy a 3-course meal with your choice of prime rib, seafood, chicken, vegetarian and pasta dishes. You can purchase additional drinks from the extensive cocktail menu and wine list (additional cost) as you savor the Lake Mead sunset. Conclude with the return drive to Las Vegas hotels.

Disappointing

Bus was 45min late in picking up which ment we missed the sunset and didn't get any photo opportunities on the boat. Food was very average at best and not worth the money it cost.

Great Getaway

Everything was fantastic, the bus was late about 30 minutes, but that didn't ruin the evening. I thought the crew worked to satisfy everyone on board and did so no matter what came up. Food was beyond my expectations and the cruise was so calming and relaxing. Great diversion from the fast pace of the Strip, only wish we could have seen the sunset when we were on the water. Time of year prevented that, so you can't be held responsible for those type of things. Great job!

Would love to give this more stars because the food and service personnel were excellent. But the bus ride to Lake Mead was hot and the cruise itself very uncomfortable because it was hot.

Very enjoyable. We were a party of 5 mature ladies out for some scenery and a nice dinner. The prime rib dinner was very good. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The cruise was beautiful. They took us near the dam which made a nice background for our pictures. Our bus driver was excellent giving history of the dam and Bolder City

Bad Experience!

I am a local.. knew we overpaid when we got to the dock and saw the prices were quite a bit less. We paid for a bus ride that was touted as complementary and definitely based on the price... was not. We were also told had we driven to the dock we would have received a 25% discount because we were local. We should have paid around $150. For 3 after the discount and paid over $300. The "complimentary" bus ride was awful. This was not the drivers normal route. You could tell he was very nervous. When we were leaving the dock he hit a concrete barrier.

Lake Mead Evening Crusie

We truly enjoyed this dinner cruise. The meal was wonderful and the staff was fabulous. I would suggest that when going in October, to try to get on an earlier cruise if there is one available, because by the time the evening cruise sails, it is too dark to see anything. It also would have been nice if the captain had announced when we had arrived at the dam because we were still eating. Luckily we noticed, ate quickly, and ran outside to see it before taking off again. Also it would have added to the experience if the captain gave us a little information while there, such as "why were the walls around the dam white?" All in all, we still loved this dinner cruise, but would love it more if our suggestions were added to it!

Some what disappointing

Food was surprisingly good and much better than I expected. Disappointed because this time of year it was completely dark outside you could see nothing but darkness until we got to hover dam and then it just looked like a bridge with lights on it. Our bus was very late picking us up so dinner felt very rushed.
