Technical issues meant we couldnt do it on our chosen day but they honoured the tickets the following day. My handheld device, which is an essential part of the experience, ran out of battery a couple of rooms in so I had to find an employee to ask for a replacement which took the gloss off the experience for me.
This was a really interactive exhibit. While I honestly haven't seen many Marvels movies, I definitely want to and come back to experience this again! There are real props from the movies, information on each character and helpful staff that help you at each interactive exhibit.
I was so hoping the reviews on this were wrong. This is such a great idea, but it is very mismanaged!! Several people noted problems with the device you carry around to get through the station and they were right on!! They mentioned at the beginning of the experience if you have any trouble while inside just ask a staff person for help. Uhm, there was NO staff people until you got all the way to the end. No one to help us when our oldest sons device died. So, I went all the way to the end only for the staff to tell me it would take 5 minutes to charge!! Okay- it wasn't even close to being charged after 5 minutes. They said, on busy days like this it is hard for us to keep them all charged. Maybe that is an indication you need to have more on hand? The entire place seemed so disorganized. Even at the end when we tried to get out photos, they took forever to wait on us and then no one seemed to know who was supposed to help us. This experience could be so amazing!!! It just falls very short of that happening. I think they need someone to come in and get a hold of the disorder and fine tune some processes which would make this so much more fun. Instead, for now, it is a huge disappointment :-
I went through Avengers Station and found it to be really interesting. There are props from the movies and some replicas, but also a lot of fun things to do as well. I would highly recommend this to any fan of the Avengers movies, and even of you're not - it's still truly a fun way to spend a few hours!
This takes about an hour. If you are a Marvel fan, this is a great experience. Search for discount tickets rather than directly through the hotel. It was not crowded but the tech issues slow the progress and could be improved.
