Why Travelers Choose This Tour
Escape to the Las Vegas desert for this hour-long horseback ride. A hearty breakfast will prepare you for your journey among stunning red rocks and wildlife. I advise keeping your heels pointed down as you ride -- it will make the ride more comfortable and secure.
Start your Wild West horseback riding tour with morning pickup from Las Vegas Strip hotels and relax during the 30-minute drive to Bonnie Springs Ranch in the desert. On arrival at the Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area, you’ll sit down for a hearty western-style cowboy — or cowgirl — breakfast. Feast on pancakes, hash browns, eggs and toast accompanied by your choice of bacon, sausage or ham and wash it all down with orange juice and coffee. While professional wranglers prepare the horses for the trail ride, take in the serenity of the majestic surroundings, where red rock mountains and desert meet. You’ll be paired with a tame horse that is well-suited to your skill level for the approximate 1-hour ride. Follow the same horse trails once used by some of the most infamous outlaws of the American West. Keep your camera on hand to capture photos of grazing cattle and, if you have a keen eye, spot bighorn sheep, road runners and jack rabbits scuttling through the brush. After your horseback ride, head over to the ranch’s on-site cowboy town and petting zoo. You’ll return to your hotel on the Strip with plenty of time left in the day to experience more of Vegas. Please Note: This is a single-file trail ride. Due to safety regulations, customers are not permitted to run or gallop the horses on the trail.

Great trip, the guide/staff are wonderful. The area is absolutely beautiful, we saw wild burros and mule deer. I haven't ridden a horse for the better part of 45 yrs, my horse Whisky was a perfect match. The breakfast was very good, my wife and I loved the trip.
We did the breakfast ride and drove out ourselves. The bus was delayed so there were only four of us on the ride. It was amazing. Beautiful morning, Roy, our guide, was so nice and knowledgeable. The breakfast was delicious. We definitely do it again but next time, the two hour ride!! Thanks Oscar and Clippy for a fun ride!!
our very first time to try something like this and it was super amazing, the guides are just awesome!! very nice and we feel very safe being with them on the tour! the view was amazing. food was good too! will do it again!
One of the best tours I have taken. Me and my girl chose the morning ride at 9:00am before the weather was too hot. The instructors were great and the horses were wonderful. You did not have to do too much with them, as they already knew what to do and where to go. You also don't need to be an experienced horse rider to join this tour. The views were amazing and we were able to take pictures on our 1 hour ride. After the ride, we ate breakfast and then visited a small petting zoo. I would highly recommend this tour.
A morning maverick ride around Red Rock Canyon was our first excursion in Las Vegas and was by far one of the best! It was such a tranquil experience and even though I had never rode before, the wranglers made me feel very at ease and I would be more than happy to ride again some day. The views and surroundings were lovely and it really took you away from the hustle and bustle of the Vegas Strip. The western-style breakfast after the ride was fantastic and really set us up for the rest of the day. We even had some time to visit the cowboy town and petting zoo before we left which was another nice surprise. This is a must-do experience and if I ever visit Vegas again I will definitely be doing the evening horseback ride!
If you want to get up close to the beautiful Red Rock canyon mountain range then this is the best thing for it. Right from pickup to saddle-up this is a great experience and breakfast after was delicious. If you are lucky enough to get James as your driver then you are in for a real fun time! James was also kind enough to drop me at my Airbnb - very much appreciated!!
The only thing I didn't really like was the petting zoo, while is was nice to have the opportunity to see the animals, and I know they were well cared for, I personally don't like to see wild animals in a cage. However, the sheep, chickens and deer will be a treat for kids.
So even if you haven't ridden a horse at all, the wranglers at Bonnie Springs ranch look after you well.
Totally recommend this if you are wanting a morning activity.
