Fantastic tour
Michael_O, Oct 2022
The tour guide van driver’s name was Mike. The tour started at Keeneland where he explained the history of the track. Very interesting! Mike took us around Lexington to see the beautiful horse farms and gave us the history of who owns the horse farms. We then stopped at a working horse farm where we interacted with the horses which was great! Highly recommend the Bluegrass Thoroughbred Horse Farm tour to everyone.
A wonderful way to see the world of thoroughbred horses!
Laurel_P, Sep 2022
Fabulous tour with our guide Mike, who was friendly, very knowledgeable and entertaining. He knew everything about horses, training, backroads of local horse farms and area, talked about big wigs in the horse world, etc. We learned SO much and the area is just beautiful to drive thru. Loved this small group tour…… very personalized. Went by a comfortable van to a horse training farm, and the best stop was Keeneland, which is such a beautiful place. We were lucky enough to be there during the Yearling Horse Auction…got behind the scenes…....fascinating to see how it all works, and Mike was terrific explaining the entire buying process. We would highly recommend this tour company to see the Lexington area world of thoroughbred horses.
Excellent tour!

The tour guide was excellent! He was very knowledgeable about the horse racing industry, horses, and Lexington in general. Petting the foals at the farm was so much fun!
Great Tour

Mike was a very knowledgeable tour guide. Really enjoyed visiting Old Friends and being able to see Silver Charm and all the other retired race horses. This is a truly amazing farm that Michael Blowen has for these beautiful horses.
Entertaining and informative in true Lexington style!
AngieKasten, Oct 2022
What a fantastic morning with Thoroughbred Heritage Horse Farm Tours! We felt privelaged that our tor guide was with the owner of a horse farm and a true Lexington native from the Todd family! Nicholas had great knowledge on history and horses and racing and training! We got to meet a female jockey, had a front row view at Keeneland from the Queen's Circle whole we watched the horses train, we saw where Seabiscuit and Dreamer were filmed and got to pet an actual race horse and the babies too of course!
Bucket List Tour

Great guide, Nicholas, who shared a wealth of information. Loved spending time at Keeneland seeing the morning workouts up close. Drove around to see many horse farms and hear about the history and who owned them. Got to pet mares and younger horses. It was a fabulous tour.
This was one of the best...
Sally_V, Sep 2022
This was one of the best tours I've taken. You get to see so many farms and Keeneland was a bonus. Recommend doing early booking so you can see horses training. I can't say enough great things about our guide, Daniel. He has a wealth of knowledge not only about the farms, owners, and horses, but Kentucky and it's history. And he's a great singer. He made the experience so much fun.
Trip to thoroughbred farm

Surprise Guest Guide!
Kathy_T, Aug 2022
Before our tour we explored some of the “horse farms” on our own with “drive by sightings” Beautiful landscaping, pristine barns, black wooden fences as far as the eye could we were looking forward to getting some insight and information about what we were seeing..We were picked up for the Organized “Thoroughbred Horse Farm Tour” and was informed by our guide he was a “stand-in” for his friend and much to our surprise he was an owner of a Horse Farm! Our Guide was entertaining, extremely knowledgeable and had the “insight” of the operations into raising thoroughbreds and everything involved in the training..the tour of the racing grounds was a great additive! This tour not only answered our questions about what we saw driving around it enhanced our stay in the Lexington, Ky area..Many Thanks Y’all!!
A must if you're here to visit

Amazing tour with a great guide. To see that many horses and then spending time at Keeneland. Family had a blast. From my four year old to my father at the age of 80. We strongly recommend!
Enjoying A TOUR By Horsing Around

The guide Daniel was the most enjoyable part of the tour. His knowledge of horses, Lexington history, trivia, and jokes made the tour lots of fun. Daniel also could sing, and every once in awhile he would burst out in song.
Great time

Our tour guide catered the tour to group interest. He had volumes of knowledge of the area, equine science, and history. I’ll definitely be back to learn more from these tours and experience Lexington more in depth because of this experience.

Beautiful Morning in Lexington
Laura_B, Oct 2021
Wonderful morning in Lexington going to Keeneland race course and Old Friends horse farm. Our guide, Nick, was knowledgeable and experienced raising and training thoroughbreds, and kept us engaged and laughing for the entire 4 hours. On the downside, masks were not required in the tight, packed van. That was the only place on our entire trip over 10 days that masks in a tight space were not required, which was a little uncomfortable. Other than that - excellent.
