This was a great tour that included most of the moorish history of Spain. The mesquite in Cordoba and the Alhambra in Granada were the major draw cards of this tour. Also Seville was included and a quick trip to Merida, which wasn't actually on the itinerary. We also had a night at Torremolinos, showing a different side to Andalucia. The optional flamenco o performance was worth seeing. The tour was not rushed and included ample free time. It included breakfast and dinners and was very good value for money. Our guide Oriol was professional and was very helpful especially with hotel check ins. We opted for the tourist hotel and they were fine.
This was a wonderful way to visit south of Spain .it was well planned and provided to see history of Muslims and many monuments preserved by unesco. The trip was comfortable even we are senior age group.I must give 7 stars to the host guide Margarita. She made it more interesting
Dr.Sajjad and Razia
Made everything easier, saw more than we would have under our own steam. Good company, accommodation, food and guides.
The trip was great. We enjoy the trip.
But it could be better if we get more info about what we were going to see before visiting the places. Especially, we don't speak spanish so it would be more enjoyable if the tour leader will provide additional info. for us
The trip was across awesome countryside and great distances...glad to have seen it from the safety of a motor coach rather than peering through the windshield of a rental car!
The mix of guided tours and free time to explore worked out great. A little more time in Toledo and less on the Costa del Sol would have made the trip more interesting. Some of the tour guides were outstanding while one was not.
The group size was really big, at one point over 40 people. It is confusing and time consuming since some people joined the tour in the middle and some dropped out en route for different directions. At one point, one elder lady joined the tour for one day and sat behind me. She was very rude and not let me closing the curtain to shade from the strong sun. The hotels are all decent, and tour director were friendly. But i do not mind paying more for a smaller group. I would not have booked this tour, should VIATOR disclose the approximate group size upfront. So much time wasted to find a missing person, or wait for another person out of WC. Southern Spain is really beautiful, i will return, though not taking this kind of tour.
