Then, feast your senses on the flora and flavors of the Alentejo wine region during a visit to a wine cellar and wine tasting session. Lunch and round-trip transfers from Lisbon are included.
On the morning of your tour, either enjoy a pickup from your Lisbon hotel or meet your guide in central Lisbon. Aboard your luxury coach, you’ll cross the Tagus River over the 25th of April Bridge. Then, sit back and admire views of the verdant Portuguese countryside as you head about 81 miles (130 km) southeast to the storied town of Évora.

Alongside your guide, you’ll discover this UNESCO World Heritage-listed town’s historical attractions and see its distinct landmarks. Visit the remnants of the Roman Temple, the Bones Chapel, the Romanesque Gothic cathedral and Évora's university. Then, spend some time on your own wandering freely through Évora's alluring walkways before stopping for lunch at a local Portuguese restaurant.
After lunch, hop back into your coach and proceed through the wine region of the Alentejo. On arrival at Azeitão, you’ll take a guided tour of a prestigious winery and learn about the varietals made here for more than a century. Then, indulge in a tasting session including the acclaimed Moscatel de Setúbal. Your tour concludes with drop-off in central Lisbon or your hotel.

Evora is truly worth seeing with the churches, chapels and cathedral, Roman Temple is small but worth seeing. Lunch was great but wine tasting was a little disappointing, it seemed like the winery wasn't prepared for the visit. One red wine was served only, they were more interested in selling wine. But if you can't taste it to see what you want to buy you are not going to sell a lot of wine.
Great service! Hotel pick up and drop off. Great narration by guide. Lunch was fantastic with generous servings and ample supplies of local wine. One of our best tour experiences.
We expected a lot from this tour considering the reputation of Evora, and so were a little bit disappointed by the limited number of interesting sites visited. A good lunch was served in the pleasant garden of a restaurant. We did not really learn much from visiting the wine cellar of a local producer. The tour concluded with a short wine tasting session.
A nice day out. Very interesting. Good guide
The places and ladscapes were excellent however the woman tour guide was not so appealing.

Day started badly with a mix-up at the transfer point. Enjoyed this trip a lot as it was a small but very diverse group of people and the tour guide couldn't have tried harder to make it work.
The guide was nice but talked way too much and too long on every topic, not breaking up the Portuguese and English segments. The side trip to the Fonseca winery was an added bonus, but we had to wait around for another group to join us and then were rushed out at the end during the tasting/chance to buy wine. Lunch, however, was great!
