Nuno was a great guide! The tour was awesome. He was very enthusiastic and passionate. He also went out of his way to show us things and take us places that were not officially on the tour. He was very fun to be around and very knowledgable. It was a great day.

We had a wonderful time on this tour. Thelma was a very knowledgeable and fun tour guide. The wineries, coastal drive, Christ the King statue, and all of the other interesting sites were very nice to see. I would highly recommend this tour.

Having taken about ten of these small group tours already during my stay in Portugal, I was looking for a relaxing, interesting day with sightseeing and some wine tasting. The meeting place at the Hard Rock Cafe was a bit chaotic, but probably the best way to organize things so people knew they were in the right place for the tour. I got a little nervous when someone I was talking to was on the same tour, but when names were called, he was summoned by the guide, but I wasn't. Did they leave me off? No. There were two separate vans. Our van was duo-lingual, and perhaps the other was all in English. We visited some very interesting towns, including the pretty beach town of Sesimbra, which had some of the highest meal prices I had seen in all of Portugal. Our guide, Joao, was very knowledgeable and it amazes me how these guides can be a driver and a multi-lingual guide and not get exhausted by the end of the day or sooner. Others have described this tour in depth, so I won't repeat. Except to say that it wouldn't be the first day trip i would take from Lisbon, because others have more history, but this was quite relaxing and allows you to see a bit more of another side of Portugal and some of its unique, flavorful wines.

On a scale of ten this was a Ten. The small group was really nice, and the people were great. We had a couple from Norway, Canada and Boston, plus a Mexican business lady from Mexico. Juao was excellent. The wine was really good and really inexpensive. Our guide was very informative, and when he got a question he could not answer, he researched it while we were having lunch. I not only would recommend this tour, I would do it again next time in Lisbon.
