Our private tour was good. Our driver was patient, explained a lot, walked us to the entrances of each places. He also helped us get tickets quicker for Pena palace. Would recommend.

We did choose to skip the Pena Castle visit, but it was a really nice day to see the countryside and Caisca area. Antonio was a great guide for us!

Antonio gave us a very comprehensive tour of Cacais, Estoril and Sintra; beautiful countryside, coastal area and historic towns. When we return to LIsbon, we will definitely explore this area much more now that we've had a wonderful introduction.

Our tour guide, Manuel was fantastic and so knowledgeable. He was prompt in picking us up at our hotel and a good driver. His sense of humor made the tour even more enjoyable.Sintra is a magnificent old village in the hills overlooking the sea.The narrow cobblestone streets wind into a village filled with tiny shops and cafes. At the top of the mountain sits a magnificent castle. The highlight of this tour was visiting the "Quinta da Regaleira" this is a masonic initiation well. You hike down steep stairs into a cave. At the bottom you can climb over a few rocks that are in a poolof water to get out. This is easy for seniors as well.I'm guessing that this is about 20 minutes out of the city of Lisbon and well worth seeing ifyou have time.
Excellent tour

Our guide and driver Paulo was amazing, he knew so much about the different architectural styles that were reflected in the palaces and villas in Sintra, and we thought he added so much to our appreciation of the beauty of both the scenery and the magnificent edifices near Sintra. He also took us through Cabo de Roca and Cascais, which were breathtakingly beautiful. Although there's no time to visit any of the locations in-depth, the half-day tour is a great way to be introduced to the area and to pick out the places you want to come back to later.
