Of the 5 countries-7 cities we were on our trip to Europe, Lisbon was the most recommended place to visit by my wife and myself. This space will not be enough for the positive adjectives about Lisbon. Our guide, Tania, of Lisbon Riders was superb - very patriotic and knows the place inside-out.

Our guide made recommendations, explained the sights and allowed time for photos. He was happy to answer all of our questions. You could tell that it was important to him that we were happy. Very helpful guy.

This was an excellent tour. Nano was so informative, and took us to many places we would not have visited ourselves. Nano even took us to the famous bakery in Belem to taste the deliciious cakes. an absolute must if you are visiting Lisbon.

It was a cloudy day. A family of six canceled. Manuel did not cancel! It was still a fabulous day touring Lisbon and surrounding area. Manuel was incredibly flexible and eager to show as many places as I was interested in as we moved a bit more quickly with fewer people. It was a good introduction to Lisbon and the south side. I returned to the same places when my daughter met me the next week. Belém with its warm pastries and tiled shop was a treat. The Monument of Discoveries acknowledges people important to the development of todays Portugal, including one woman. This is also a popular area for sail boats and sailing lessons. Driving across the April 25 bridge and visiting Cristo Rei were eye opening vantage points also a time to experience Gods Grace and pray for peace. A little shopping at street/artisan vendors gave me a beautiful pair of hand designed silver earrings. Food, history, beauty, water views, Mountain Views, appreciation for a different culture and people and a competent and pleasant tour guide made for a great day. I never took a tour before and will probably not go anywhere without starting with one. Yes, well worth the time and money, Oh, and it is the week before Christmas with lights and Christmas markets . Great time. Thanks Manuel.

Tania met us at 10:00 at the meeting point in downtown Lisbon. She confirmed our names and showed our party of two, and our two other riders to the Lisbon Riders van. One other booked rider could not be located so we waited a few minutes while Tania tried to call his telephone number, but with no luck. After trying all options and making several searches around the meeting point plaza we departed on the tour. Tania was very knowledgeable of Lisbon history, and explained the effects of the earthquakes, the reconstruction, the monarchy, the dictatorships, and finally the Red Carnation revolution. While waiting for our missing companion, our riders talked about their desired shopping while in Lisbon, and Tania explained the best places to shop for the desired items. The tour covered the main areas of interest in Lisbon, and Tania displayed expert driving skills navigating our van through traffic and very tight streets of the various districts and sites of Lisbon. We loved the best desert in the world at it's original bakery and the near-by monastery and cathedral. We spent some time at the west Lisbon tower, the terrace and monument to Discovery, went across the bridge to lunch and the Christ monument, and then toured important places and lookouts in the old city. The day wrapped up with Tania taking us to our hotel that was on her way home. Tania was pleasant, informative, extremely knowledgeable, and very professional. We were extremely lucky to have Tania as our guide and recommend requesting her as you guide for this or the Sintra tour with Lisbon drivers.

I have to say our very gregarious tour guide, Tania, was a delight. She was more than enthusiastic about conveying her love of Lisbon and Portugal. Tania tried to educate us about Portugese history and traditions and many of her stories had a humorous lesson. I'm sure there was more to see in Lisbon but the tour would have to be 10 hours. Tania was great about taking the time for us old farts and answering any questions. I was impressed with Lisbon and would enjoy returning.

Was fun and enjoyable. Note that there are lots of hills in Lisbon and, unless you go on a strictly bus tour, you must be prepared for serious walking.

Abrigado! Our guide, Tania was an excellent. She was a wealth of information on the sites and history of Lisbon. The tour was highly professional and a fabulous introduction to the City of Lisbon. This was our first visit but certainly not our last visit, thanks to Tania and her passion and her work and her city. Her driving skills were outstanding and your company should be commended for hiring such a well qualified guide.

For our first day in Lisboa, we chose this tour with Lisbon Riders. Our guide Manuel was an excellent host and gave us a great commentary on the history and politics of Portugal and Lisboa which was thoroughly interesting. Manuel took us through the city to Belem for coffee and delicious Portuguese tarts, then on to Belem Tower, the War Memorial and the Discoveries Monument, all of which were impressive and thought provoking. Over to the South side of the river for a great lunch at Restaurant Farol then on to Christo with stunning views over the city. This tour was the best introduction to Lisboa and allowed us much more free time for our stay because it was so thorough. Manuel was a great host, good driver and the vehicle was clean and spacious.

This was THE most amazing tour and tour guide we've had!!! This tour covers all the main monuments, attractions and views of Lisbon. Nunu was our guide, I recommend him with closed eyes. Nunu was accommodating, friendly and knowledgeable. He took us to an absolute MUST while in Lisbon - eat Pasteis de Belem. Try them, you will not be disappointed!!! From there we went to all the important places in Lisbon, had a delicious lunch in Almada and a great ending with a breathtaking panoramic view of Lisbon. Cannot say enough how happy we are to have booked this tour. I recommend it to anyone. Ask for Nunu, he's the best :

This was a super cool tour! I loved getting to taste the most popular Pasteis de Nata in Lisbon and the van was super comfortable. Tanya was lovely and was very passionate and knowledgable about all the sites she took us to. My friend and I went on the Private Beetle Tour just a few days before and I was pleased to see that both tours barely overlapped. The only place we ended up visiting twice was Belem, but that was no problem, because there is a lot to see there and both experiences were still different. One of my favorite parts was going to the highest point of Lisbon and seeing incredible views. We also traveled to Almada and through the famous April 25th Bridge to see the Christ the King statue. You will love this tour!! :
