We booked this tour for our second day in Lisbon. Rui I hope I'm spelling it right, pronounced Huey I believe, was just amazing. I've been on many tours before where it just seems rehearsed and they are just spitting out facts. However, our guide really felt like a friend who was showing us around a city that he grew up in and loved so much. We really got a sense of where everything was in Lisbon which helped us out for the rest of our trip. It's a nice way to get a quick rundown of Lisbon and we were all so amazed by how much history and beauty Lisbon had. The tour saved us time since we were able to see multiple places since there was a mode of transportation. It was also great that the group was very small. I can say hands down the best tour I've been on! Thank you for the great storytelling and your awesome driving skills. We fell in love with Portugal!!!!
it was exactly what we needed in the short time we had. fantastic tour guide!
Raquel was wonderful: personable informative and very engaging. High marks in every category.
We saw so much, including some hidden gems like the reservoir for the aqueduct, which we couldn't have discovered on our own. Raquel and Jamie were wonderful.
Rui was a great tour guide and the small group meant very personal attention. Rui is very knowledgeable and passionate about Lisbon, and we saw places we would have found very difficult to visit without a car. Also gems we wouldn't have thought of visiting, like the acqueduct, which was so interesting. Rui also purchased some delicious Pasteis de Belem for us to try, which was an unexpected treat. I would highly recommend this tour.
David is a fantastic guide. We received great historical overview of Portugal and good oversight of the city.
We saw places which we would not have seen by ourselves as they are not yet describe d in tourist books.
Helga and Agusta, Iceland.

This was a wonderful way to see Lisbon in a day, local knowledge is important and Rita was amazing, I loved hearing about Lisbon's history and seeing the sights that matched. It was a warm day and the supply of water and ability to adjust the itinerary to keep cool in the air conditioned van was appreciated. The Aqua Museum was a unexpected surprise and cool. Would recommend, specially if you only have a few days.
Excellent tour and excellent tour guide. We enjoyed our day with Rachel learning about history of Portugal. Beautiful city.
We really enjoyed our day with David. He was a fountain of information and his passion for Lisbon showed. He was very personal and interactive with us and it was a most enjoyable day!
Our tour was excellent. We were lucky to have Pablo for our guide. He was very knowledgeable as well as kind and considerate. We loved it.
Great tour. Guide David helpful and knowledgeable about the history of Lisbon. As a native of the city he had good insider tips. We got a good geographical overview of the city too with stops at the top of 3 hills with great vantage points.
Only one other couple. Felt very personal.
This tour was very well organized showing us the highlights of the city. Rachel is knowledgeable, accommodating and fun to spend time with.

My wife and I enjoyed looking around Lisbon all day on this tour. Using the small van makes it a lot easier to navigate the narrow streets compared to being on a large bus, so we got to see more local stuff. The tour really was all day, we were picked up at our hotel at 9 AM and didn't return until after 5:30 PM. I recommend this tour if you want to look around Lisbon. Our guide Nonu spoke excellent English and was there for whatever we wanted to see and do.
This trip is a good way to spend the first day of your Lisbon holiday. With our excellent guide, we went to various neighbourhoods in Lisbon learning about the history of each area and taking pictures of the many historical buildings. There were several highlights of the day. We enjoyed seeing and learning about the 18thcentury aqueduct. and the Monument to the Discoveries , The famous Portuguese pastry we tasted was excellent. We ate lunch as a group at a traditional Portuguese restaurant and with our guide's translation enjoyed some excellent seafood. The one big negative of the trip was the poor air conditioning in the van. The temperature outside was 32 degrees and by the end of the day we couldn't wait to get out of the van.
