Beautiful. Very friendly guide, safe driver. First we drove to the Pena Palace in Sintra and our guide took us around the outside of the palace. We then toured the inside of the palace and following this were taken to Sintra Village for an hour of shopping/dining/site seeing. We then were taken along the coast to Cabo da Roca. Prior to heading to Cabo da Roca we had a small detour in which our guide showed us cork trees. After about a half hour at Cabo da Roca we headed further along the coast to Cascais and were left to shop/dine/site see in Cascais. Our guide then dropped us off at our hotel. Very nice guide, offered to take our photos so we could be in the pictures together and was very good at taking shots. Also very knowledgeable, taught us a lot about the all our stops.

The tour was excellent. The guide Nuno was one of the best guides we have ever had on holiday. So informative and able to answer all the questions the group asked him. Everything went like clockwork. Nothing but praise for the tour and for Nuno.

This tour was excellent!! Our tour guide, Manuel was exceptional! He was extremely helpful and stopped at different spots to show us some very breathtaking views! He was knowledgeable and very polite. We went to the Pena Palace in Sintra, to Cascais, Cabo da Roca, plus other beautiful places that I was not expecting to see. Very much worth it!!! The four of us were pleasantly surprised! I would venture to say that out of the three tours purchased from Viator, this one was my favorite!!

We toured with Lisbon Riders, and our tour guide was Nunu. It was an excellent experience. We had our 2 children with us as well, ages 9 and 11. They enjoyed the experience very much, and Nunu was great with them. I would highly recommend the tour and Lisbon Riders. It was the perfect mix of site seeing, and some time alone to tour the towns. Nunu had great recommendations for yummy desserts too!

This was a great tour! We covered a lot of see sighting. Nunu was very knowledgeable. The pace was great - not rushed but not too slow either! Well worth the money spent!

We loved this. Nuno, the co-owner and our host for the day, was great. Relaxed, informative, flexible. There were seven in our group so he could accommodate everyone and their questions. Ticket to Sintra wasn't included and it wasn't much money, nor was lunch like others offer, but that just meant we could do what we wanted vs a generic lunch. Thanks Nuno! Highly recommended.

I've been a collaboration on Tripadvisor for many years, so when I saw Viator was linked to them I felt 'safe' to book a tour with them. We were only in Lisbon for 3 days and wanted to use one of them to explore a bit, see something historical and a bit of the seaside. Here we did all of this, while travelling with other 6 traveller capacity 8, driver/guide.
Unfortunately a few months have passed and I can no longer remember the name of user guide, but he was very nice, knowdlegeable, patient and with a catching enthusiasm about his job.
The Pena Palace was out of this world, amazing place, very happy to have chosen it because there's so much to see in Lisbon and we had so little time. Cascais was great, too.
I highly recomment Viator for your excursions not only in Lisbon but in any of your trips. The whole booking process was fast, smooth and we had no problems even though I didn't have a printer to print the tickets. The driver knew who we were when we arrive and greeted us warmly. Really Good! Not more big busses for me, this was personalised and stress free, thank you!!

I do not normally write reviews, but i had to for this tour. I booked it before going to Portugal for my girlfriend and myself. We met up at a local community square with some other couples and were greeted by our tour Guide Nuno at 9am. He was extremely personable, knowledgeable, friendly and spoke great English. We began the tour with a visit to Pena Palace on a mountain in beautiful Sintra, there is plenty of time to explore the royal palace and get great scenic photos like something out of Disney. From there we traveled to the town of Sintra where we had some tasty local pastries and explored for about 30 minutes. The town is beautiful, but busy. We were given a brief tour of the surrounding palaces and homes around Sintra which were absolutely beautiful. Ask to see a Cork tree which Portugal is famous for. Nuno stopped and showed us a cork tree which was a treat since my girlfriend and I had never seen one. We then drove to a scenic sea side town for some photos and made our way to the cliffs of the most western point of continental Europe. The coastline there was absolutely beautiful and there is a light house and monument. Great photo opportunity for you photo buffs. Bring a jacket it its a bit windy there. We completed the tour with a stop offin the luxury sea side town of Cascais where the rich spend their summers. It is here where we tasted some amazing Gelato from a local establishment that has been in business since 1949. The whole trip was very scenic and accommodating. You really see the best of Portugal in a short amount of time, which is exactly what we wanted. I cant say enough good things about our amazing host and tour guide Nuno. A wonderful experience that i highly recommend.

Loved this tour, it was a small bus and our guide was great. This day tour was just enough to get a great insight around Lisbon. Definitely would be a must on another trip there.

Super job by our tour guide Nunu. Very knowledgable and extremely well mannered. Spoke English well and patiently answered all questions. Also, knew shortcuts to get around Sintra traffic and drove his comfortable vehicle well. Never felt rushed. Also, most reasonable tour I saw on the website.

We are so lucky to have found this tour here in Viator. I must say, Nuno is probably one of the best tour guides in Lisbon! He was so friendly, knowledgeable and professional. The van itself was top class, clean and comfortable. Thank you so much for such an amazing time. We highly recommend!!! D

For our last day in Lisbon, we decided to take a day trip to Pena Palace, Sintra and Cascais. We started at 9:00am and were greeted by Manuel and his immaculate minivan. Our group included ourselves a retired 40-something couple, a young couple from Romania, 2 businesswomen from Canada and 2 recent grads on a European vacation before starting their careers in NYC.

Manuel was an excellent guide and provided meaningful details about our destinations and helpful information about points of interest throughout our journey. He spoke perfect English and was full of interesting facts about our tour destinations and Portuguese history.

We arrived early enough at Pena Palace to receive a happy hour discount. We paid roughly 15 USD per person entry fee and spent about an hour exploring the amazing palace and the castle grounds. Manuel provided brief and appropriate commentary for our mostly self-guided tour.

After Pena, we headed down the hill to Sintra for a quick lunch at the place of our choosing and free time to explore this quaint Village. Manuel suggested we try the travesseiro pillow / almond and egg cream stuffed pastry at cafe A Piriquita. We enjoyed the pastry and found our way to a casual Indian restaurant for lunch. Our group of eight met at a central meeting point on time to continue our journey.

On our way back to Lisbon we made stops at Cabo da Roca continental Europe's most western point and Boca do Inferno Hell's Mouth. We finally made our way to Cascais and after guidance from Manuel we were again allowed time for self-exploring this beach side town. Again Manuel made a sweet snack suggestion - Santini. Santini is a small chain of Portugese ice cream shops. Their tag line is I Galati Piu Fini del Mondo I dont know that it was the best but it was certainly worth a quick visit.

This tour represented an amazing value for the quality of our guide combined the amount of activities we were able to squeeze into a single outing.

We enjoyed this tour from start to finish. Our tour guide, Nonu, was obliging, very knowledgeable and did a great job. There was a lot packed into the day and much to see but, that said, I never felt rushed. The van was cool and comfortable. This provided a great opportunity to get out of Lisbon, see some of the surrounding countryside and learn a little more of the history of Portugal. I highly recommend this tour.

This tour was magnificent as it had both great places to see but the tour guide Nuno was very friendly and seemed to love his job. The palace is incredibly beautiful and worth seeing. My favorite part of the tour was the small town we visited as well which was clean and nice places to see and eat at. I really loved the most western point of Europe, it was fantastic. The coast we went to was equally breathtaking. This is a no brainer of a tour.

You cannot visit Portugal without taking a day trip to Sintra. Our small group tour was outstanding and we enjoyed the beautiful castle and all of the stops along the coast. I highly recommend this tour!

Nuno was our guide for the day for our group of 4, and another group of 4. He was very informative, and personable. The tour was fantastic- we did the castle above town, a second castle and beautiful garden, the town itself, then we went to several interesting places along the coast, including Cascais. Each spot was worth the stop. A great day, highly recommended, and Nuno was fabulous!

We had a truly lovely day on this tour. Our guide was very friendly and very knowledgeable. Seniors or people with mobility issues, however, should be aware that the walk at the Sintra castle is somewhat steep and difficult.
