Very good tour learning the cultures and history of Portugal.
People were great, kind, courteous, cultured, and accommodating to visitors.
Great experiences, and would like to visit Portugal more.
Thank you very much, Andrea, our great tour guide.
Great and informative trip. Guides were great and fun. Would recommend this tour to all.
Our tour guides Patricia and Michaela were very knowledgeable. They answered all our questions and provided a great deal of information. This was a full day tour comfortable shoes are a must!
I would say this one of the most informative tours I have ever been on.Our guide knew so much history on this topic she was brilliant. And going out on small boat to visit a castle in the middle of river, was so much fun.Be prepared of along a long day though.

We where pleasantly surprised with this trip. We did not know much about it as compared to the more popular excisions but were very happy with out choice. The two main stops were very intriguing, interesting, and different than what we have normally experienced.
Also, not being the most popular was a plus as they were not crowded and easy to get around. Maybe I shouldn't be saying this as it may draw more people in the future...Kidding aside, it is a must see!
The tour and guide were amazing!! Andrea did a fantastic job and this was while handling a group in English and 1 person in Spanish. I recommend this tour for anyone interested in learning more about the Knights Templar in Portugal.
We had a great time by travelling through time with our guide, who is a knowledgeable story-teller. The castles and the convent are awesome. We also enjoyed a delicious meal in a medieval restaurant at Tomar.
Thelma was a wealth of knowledge a moving history book. Those of you who like Dan Brown historical fiction novels like Angels and Demons will love hearing and seeing the real history. The convent in Tomar is breathtaking. It is quite an interesting drive to get to the location too.
While it was supposed to be 8 people, our small group turned out to be only 4 of us plus our guide. I belive her name was spelled Cellia. She was outstanding. In addition to the driving, she accompanied us to each site: Almoural Castle, the town of Tomar and the Monastery above the town where she gave us a full guided tour. She was so knowledegable and thorough in her eplanations! In the town she gave us an hour and a half, and directed us to several local restaurants and a beautiful park. It was really an outstanding day!
I thoroughly enjoyed my small-group tour of the Castle of Almourol and the city of Tomar. Our tour guide sadly I didn't get her name was brilliant, answered every question we asked, and expounded on the historical information and significance of everything we saw. She taught me a lot in such a short time. I was sad when the day came to an end. If you enjoy history, beautiful sites, and a smaller tour group, do this! It's a day well-spent.
