Your tour begins with an 8am pickup from your Lombok hotel. Traveling in the comfort of a private vehicle, set out on scenic journey to Tetebatu to begin your trek.
Follow your guide on a leisurely hike through the black monkey forest, named for its abundance of black ‘Pitu’ monkeys. Continue through the surrounding farmlands, passing forests of mahogany trees and clove plantations, and stopping to watch local farmers at work in the fields.
After lunch (included) at a local restaurant, get a taste of everyday life in Lombok as you explore the villages of Tetebatu and Loyok, then visit the Lingar Temple to learn more about the island’s Hindu and Muslim beliefs. Make a final stop at the Taman Narmada park, where the beautiful gardens contain a replica of Lake Segara Anak at Mount Rinjani, one of Lombok’s most picturesque landmarks.
Your tour ends with drop-off at your hotel around 6pm.
