Great tour it was better than I thought it would be and the tea was outstanding
Great tour. Really worth doing and you go at your own pace once inside the Palace.
The instructions to find the starting point were clear and with a map we found it easily. The young lady who took the tour sorry can't remember her name was lovely and informative. Buckingham palace was terrific. We have been to a number of palaces over the years but really all of them are museums. Buckingham palace is where people work and live and it gave a more vibrant feel. The displays of the gifts to the Queen made the walk through the palace far more interesting than just viewing the rooms. A little rushed looking through the gift shop but we then walked through the gardens lovely to our high tea. Sitting at the table we met two ladies from the USA and had a great chat whilst enjoying the delicacies presented. In all a fun, informative and delicious after.
Great tour that was well worth the price. I was so lucky to have arranged tour for the date that I did, not even knowing that it was the last day of the 8 weeks of the year that it was open!!! Enjoyed seeing some of the gifts that other heads of states and dignitaries have given the Queen. Was a tour I will never forget!!! And the high tea afterwards was also great fun sat with a couple from Scotland and another couple from England, so enjoyed having tea with locals! The hotel is beautiful and made it a great experience. Wonderful tour and tea...I would do it again in a heartbeat!!!
We were taken for an amazing walk through history but an incredibly friendly and knowledgeable guide. I would highly recommend this tour if you are ever in London. The afternoon tea was very nice as well
Amazing tour of Buckingham Palace. Our guide was very professional with a keen interest in English history, he shared his expert knowledge with us and kept us moving. Afternoon tea at the Rubens was excellent. Highly recommended!!!
Tour with Amber from City Tours! A must go attraction to all visitors of London! I mean come on you get to see 19 out 755 rooms of the palace where the Queen resides!!! On top of that we got a very interactive, funny, witty and lovely guide in Amber! Tour lasts about 3.5 hours and you can stay and hang out after enjoying ur tea with other tourists. If you are lucky enough like we were, our fellow tour members were amazing, we spent 1.5 hours exchanging info and talking about our experiences.
Great end to a fabulous vacation. So special to tour Buckingham Palace which is rich with history and open on a limited basis. Our tour guide was extremely knowledgeable, friendly and fun. Afternoon tea was very chic and so British.
Hey from Atlanta, Ga. We loved our guide, Julis JULHUB9171605. Buckingham Palace is so beautiful, the Queens Gallery, the state rooms, the garden. Just walking inside the palace. By having the tour guide, Julis explained so many details about the palace and had out times set up, and we walked right in without waiting. Julis took care of the stress for us. Afterwards, we traveled a few blocks to our afternoon tea. Delightful, delicious and wonderful company, meeting others from different countries. A note to remember, you will be doing a lot of walking on this tour and to wear comfortable shoes. Thanks Julis for helping make some great memories. The Blazeks
This tour was well organized and just so interesting. The audio sets worked well and the high tea was in a very nice hotel across the street from the Palace. Our guide was super friendly and pleasant with a good knowledge of the history. Great tour - highly recommend!!
Sandy, our tour guide, was fantastic! Her informative, interesting, witty and fun narrative felt more like she was having a conversation with us, unlike other tour companies I have booked with in the past, which someone was reciting a script from memory. The afternoon tea at The Ruebens was delicious. A beautiful hotel with impeccable staff. We couldn't get over how much food there was. Couldn't finish it! Highly recommend!
the tour guide was very engaging and passionate. the afternoon tea experience is pretty authentic and great. However, I was at the table with a few women from UK and they were disappointed with the tea because it wasn't proper tea.

We thoroughly enjoyed our tour of Buckingham Palace. Our guide was very knowledgeable and she met us at The Duke of York Statue and explained lots of information and history to us about the buildings such as St James's Palace as we proceeded down the Mall to Buckingham Palace. Everything ran very smoothly and after our tour inside the beautiful palace which is self guided with headsets, we met outside and proceeded to Reuben's Hotel for a delightful high tea. The palace was beautiful and I would recommend that you see it if you get the chance. I would definitely recommend this tour to anybody.
The guide was great!!!!!!! So so knowledgeable.
The tour was great and High Tea was fun............
We had an awesome tour guide who had a lot of knowledge and a great sense of humor. She made it a lot of fun and tea afterwards was a great way to end it.
We really enjoyed our visit to Buckingham Palace and glad we were vacationing in August when it is possible to do so. Our tea at the Ruebens hotel was also quite lovely. There's a large variety of teas to choose from and great sandwiches, homemade scones/clotted cream and preserves and desserts to eat
Joan was a great guide- very knowledgeable. There is quite a long walk from the tour origination point to the palace so be sure to wear comfortable shoes- there were 2 ladies in heels on our tour who were really hurting by the end of it.Tea was scrumptious.
If you are travelling to London when Buckingham Palace is open I recommend this tour.
The tour was great but not impressed with tea at he end as it was long walk from the palace and the food not great!!!
The experience was great. And afternoon tea was a fitting conclusion. Nathan our guide was excellent and his knowledge was second to none.
Because the Queen was away, we had access to the State Rooms, and that was awesome. Our Guide Gavin was very knowledgeable and gave us many historical insights along our walking tour. The Tea at the Rubens Hotel was particularly enjoyable.

Our guide Nathan was excellent. We learned so much about the history and heard some great palace stories! There is enough time to tour the inside and an added bonus was the collection of Princess Diana. You see the royals in the rooms but to see it in person is priceless. Nathan walked us to high tea which was delicious and what we needed after walking, there is plenty of food and the service was outstanding. This is was highlight of our London experience!!
