Multiple pick up points, and friendly and informative guide, Manon. Could have used more time to visit Canterbury proper, but knew the times going in. Very windy at the cliffs, so you may need a jacket. Dover Castle is huge so there will be quite a bit of walking. The cathedral is amazing and there is more of it than meets the eye when you first enter, not to mention the surrounding grounds.

Fantastic day trip on small bus tour, our guide was Ian who knew his history very well and brought a lot of fun to our little band of travelers. I especially recommend this tour to Canterbury and Dover Castle.

I enjoyed the friendly tour guide Catea and our driver Brandon who gave us all kinds of additional information about what we saw on route and about the sights we visited. Dover Castle, the Cliffs and Canterbury Cathedral were exceptional. I also loved the inside and outside activities which were part of the tour. Well done!

It was a beautiful trip! Loved the history and the scenery. Wish we had had more time at each place. Our tour guide was very nice and knowledgeable. I wish we had had the option through Viator to select our pick up location, it was automatically assigned when we bought through viator and then we had to jump through a lot of hoops to figure out how to get them to pick us up in a different location because of the confusion. Make sure you are on top of that if you buy here online.

Took this tour yesterday, principally to see the White Cliffs, but the highlight was definitely Canterbury and Dover Castle. Full day tour as we got back to London at 7pm although there was a patch of bad traffic. Highly recommend Christina the tour guide had a very positive attitude to her job and was very knowledgeable. Worth noting that while there are multiple pickup points - only 1 drop off point London Bridge Tube station

The trip was very nice. Would have liked to know how physically demanding the White Cliffs of Dover and Dover Castle were but I managed during the trip. Also wish we had more time in Dover Castle as it has so much to offer. Maybe less time is needed in Canterbury to offset that. Overall I would recommend this tour.

Was good. Plenty of free time, but a little more guidance would have been welcome.

The cathedral at Canterbury and Dover Castle were magnificent and worth seeing but not on the same day. Dover Castle needs at least a day. As far as the White Cliffs are concerned, you are better off looking at a picture.

Our tour guide, Karen, was very nice. However, she really could have given a little blurb about each site before we arrived. She mentioned going into the tunnels at Dover. One lady asked what she was referring to but Karen did not give her any explanation. There is so much history that she could have touched on for both sites but she made no effort to do so. I realize that it was not a guided tour but I have been on other unguided tours before and the guide still gives the history of the site. I was disappointed.

Dover castle was spectacular and a lot of fun, but I was very disappointed by the tour guide, who gave no information about the area and disappeared most of the time, unless it was time to get tickets.

This was everything but a guided tour. I might as well have booked my train tickets and go by myself. The tour was poorly organised. We picked up our tour guide in Caterbury. She was a nice lady, but she just walked around with us for a few minutes. Then we headed to the cathedral, where she bought our tickets, gave them to us and told us to be back at the bus station by 1pm. So we were left to explore the cathedral on our own. What were we supposed to do? Hire a guide or an audio guide? On top of what we had paid for the tour! She didn't even time our arrival to be on time to take one of the free guided tours in the cathedral! We missed it by 10 minutes, maybe.
After this we headed to Dover, where again she purchased our bracelets and let us wander, telling us what the highlights of the place are and what we could find interesting. She told us to meet again by 5. Some of us went in a tunnel it was interesting and then to the castle, which is so very small! It took us maybe 30 minutes if not less to see it. Then we had to wait around, doing nothing, for the bus to come back at 5. Then we dropped her off and headed back to London.
1. Like I already mentioned, I could have gone on my own
2. I would have done some research as to time my arrival in the cathedral with the guided tour .. at the very least!
3. Why on earth did we not visit Dover first and Canterbury last, as to have time to walk around the town or do some shopping?

What was the point of hiring the experts to arrange the tour? Aren't they supposed to know these things? I work in tourism and I know this is Tour Operator 101 stuff, honestly ...

I really felt like I wasted my money on this and I regret having booked this tour. My colleague booked another one with a different company and she was so happy with the service! I would not recommend this tour or this tour operator and neither should you!
