London has so much to see and do that it can be overwhelming to decide what to do or where to start. I found this tour to be a great place to start, Our tour guide was Anthony Matthews which I have to say, I really enjoyed his stories and knowledge of the history of London and of England. He is very passionate of his country and appreciates the relationships between nations. I enjoyed his sense of humor and could have spent hours hearing more of his stories and insights. I enjoyed learning about and visiting the Tower of London as well as Westminster Abbey. We also spent some time at a market which was awesome. I read how some reviews that some were disappointed with the Tea Service but have to say, I was not. The tea and treats were delicious and presented beautifully.

This tour was amazing and my favorite of my time in London.
Pros: Our tour guide, Trudy, was phenomenal. She really enhanced this tour in every way possible. She's a blue level guide, so she knows her facts, has been put through her paces, and had wonderful people skills and sensing her group's needs and wants. This tour gets you in the Tower of London EARLY. Take it! Getting into the Tower early is a rare treat, and you get to miss the hoards of people and crowds that are coming - TRUST ME. You also get a Beefeater to give you a small guided tour in addition to your assigned tour guide for the whole day. The Tower is much bigger than you might think, it's not one tower but a complex of different buildings and events. The crown jewels are here - another reason to get there early to see them. There is really a moving sidewalk in front of the crowns, so if you do this tour, you get to see them with less people. Westminster Abbey: Pictures and other people's descriptions do not do this building justice. You have to see it for yourself. And to know how old it is, from the 1060s, is jaw-dropping. You get special entry to the Abbey, and get to walk down the middle most don't so it's where some of the biggest moments in English history have taken place. Isaac Newton on your left, Charles Darwin on your right, Queens and Kings everywhere. Not to mention the architecture, stained glass. It truly is awe inspiring. The stop at Borrough market is awesome. You get a break from the historical sites to see and smell the market, taste some awesome food, and shop for a bit.

Cons: The afternoon tea at Westminster Abbey. The cafe attached to the Abbey is very average and utilitarian. I thought it would have more splendor, be a bit more ostentatious. There really isn't much service, either. Your tea and sandwiches/desserts are set up and you sit down with your group. However, the food was very good as was the tea. I just expected more in terms of what the atmosphere at the Abbey would deliver. But, don't let this stop you from taking the tour. Still take it, but then have afternoon tea another day at a posh hotel in addition!

Deb, our tour guide, was amazing and we were thrilled when we got her for another tour a few days later. The Tower of London was incredible as expected as was the Abbey. We had enough time to wander around and Deb was a fountain of knowledge, Borough Market was lovely as well. Afternoon tea consisted of several kinds of little sandwiches and pastries, scones and tea, of course. It was the perfect way to begin our trip!

I've been on lots of tours, and this one was excellent. We were transported in a 50-year-old double Decker bus which was very comfortable. There were only 12 of us on the tour which was nice. Our guide was very knowledgeable and helpful. We had an early tours at the Tower of London way before the crowds arrived with ample time to look around on our own afterwards. We then took the bus to the borough market where we had an hour to shop and grab some lunch. The food there was great and it was hard making a choice, But I would definitely recommend the oysters! We then drove through London to Westminster Abby. Our tour guide, Lezlee, lead us through the Abbey with interesting commentary. The tour ended with a beautiful tea with all the fixings at the restaurant in the Abbey. A really fun and informative day. I would highly recommend it!

Excellent. Sheila was awesome. Just a note For seniors or people with disabilities, there is an extremely large amount of walking so if you are physically challenged, you will be allowed to sit at times but it is still extremely taxing. Don't forget to take money to buy great items at Burroughs Market. Our favorite place was Westminster Abbey, words just cannot describe how breathtaking it is. A must see while in London. The afternoon tea at the end was the perfect finish to this great trip.
