    Traveler Tips

The terminal meeting place is crowded and crazy busy so allow plenty of time to find the bus.
The no cancellation policy is bad because you cannot cancel and get your money back even for legitimate reasons - which keeps other people from being able to attend.
Do not miss visiting this studio if you are even remotely interested in Harry Potter!

    The bus driver never...
    Nicole_S, Mar 2023
The bus driver never identified the tour on board, nor his name, how to identify the bus for the return home and arrived JUST before the time they told us guests to be back at the bus. He said NOTHING. The bus should have been waiting in the lot like all the other bus companies- they were there early and provided a warm and safe place for clients to wait for others upon departure. He would leave the bus unattended- totally unprofessional trip.

    Fantastic tour
    Jennifer_M, Mar 2023
Transportation was comfortable and on time. The tour itself was outstanding! Plan on a full day at the studio. So much to see and some is guided but majority is explore at your own pace.
    Horrible Service
    Felipe_V, Mar 2023
London public transportation was experiencing a strike on Mar 15th, so we planned accordingly and got an Uber to the Victoria Coach Station. Normally a tube ride would take 20mins, or by car 25, but due to traffic caused by the strike it took 50mins. However, we planned for this, we arrived 20mins before departure, we were the first in-line for our tour. Someone finally appeared after 15mins or so in a pink vest to check us in. That’s where the last of the good luck ran out. We stood there for 3hrs! The attendant updated us the best she could but there was nothing she could do beyond that. I attempted to reschedule with Premium Tours via telephone however, they refused stating that this was beyond their control and they are booked until May so there’s no possible way for us to go tomorrow or any day really, while we are vacationing in London. That doesn’t seem like great customer service or a solution at all. I then asked for a refund, this wasn’t possible either because they said it wasn’t their fault there were major delays due to the strike. There was also no guarantee how long it would take to get out of London and to the Harry Potter Studio. On top of that, I remind you, that the tour is estimated to be 4hrs. There was little to no empathy from this company on the customers predicament, about 150 people queuing because it’s now 1500, and my departure time was 1215. They expected people to stand around getting hungry and thirsty. There weren’t enough benches for people to sit down on so most were just sitting on the cold floor of the station, children and older folks alike. It was a terrible situation. They expected us to continue wasting our time standing around for a bus that may never arrive and lose out on other scheduled events for the evening? I called my credit card company to dispute the charges and they refunded me immediately. I was also told by local Londoners that they must refund you according to British law, they are taking advantage of the situation and tourists lack of know-how. So I did just that, I filed an official complaint with the Ombudsman Services; they resolve disputes between customers and companies here in the UK. It’s unfortunate, because this has been the only stain on an otherwise phenomenal holiday to celebrate a family members 70th birthday. Her wish has always been to come to London and she has loved it all. Harry Potter was something she was looking forward to but, we will ultimately make different memories elsewhere, we went and saw a hilarious play at one of the smaller theatres.

This tour is really amazing! If you are a Harry Potter fan, or just a fan of movies, it is cool to see everything it took to make these films. I loved it! The bus we took to get there was comfortable and clean, and our driver was very nice.
    Go quickly through the musuem
    Reann_E, Feb 2023
It was a nice bus trip but there was no usb plugs to charge phone on the way. You need to go quickly through the museum, 3 hours is not enough time.

    Would not recommend
    Jacqueline_G, Feb 2023
The driver left us at an area that was different than our pick up location. She originally said that she was leaving us where we could get taxis. When we got there, there were no taxis. When I asked her where we could catch a cab, she was not sure and gave me two different areas. Neither had taxis and I had to just walk around for 20 minutes before I found one. It was dark and I had my daughter. I would not recommend this tour for anyone. We are not from London so we had no idea where we were

    Ashley_N, Feb 2023
The Harry Potter Tour was absolutely amazing. Booking through Viator with Premium Tours was excellent and hassle free. All we had to do was show up when and where required and they took care of everything else. The tour was long but worth it.

    Derrick_M, Feb 2023
The actual Warner Bros studio tour was worth the visit. However, our coach journey was horrendous. Red lights galore on route and he was watching cricket on his phone on the way back

Fantastic Experience for Harry Potter Fans
    Tiarna_W, Feb 2023
Overall, I had an amazing time exploring the wide variety of sets, props, costumes and countless other inclusions during the studio tour. As a Harry Potter fan, I was blown away at the sheer scale of some of the sets and the effort that had gone into building them. It truly was a magical experience and a must-do activity for Harry Potters fans. The reason I am only giving it 4 stars is that I experienced some difficulties with the tour operator. The coach that took us to the studio tour was fantastic and ran on time, but the booking did not clearly state when the return coach would be leaving the studio tour and heading back to London. I only found out on the day that it would be leaving at 5pm and we arrived at the studio tour at about 11:30am. This would leave over 6 hours to explore the tour which was definitely too much in my opinion. It only took me 2 hours to complete the tour, so I inquired whether I could join an earlier bus, as I wasn't keen in waiting in the cold for many hours. I didn't get a response from the company until about 45 minutes later, as there was no contact number on the booking, and in the mean time I had taken alternative transport back to London at my own expense. It would have been nice if the booking stipulated when the coach would be leaving the studio tour, because I just assumed it would leave every hour.

    Terrible driver
    Barb, Feb 2023
I have been on 20+ bus tours. Between day trips and full escorted tours. This was the worst Bus driver I have even had. He slammed on the brakes constantly. Was talking to himself. He was listing loudly to a e-book on his personal device for 20 mins on return trip. We left 30 mins late from the bus depot in the morning because there we late arrivals. The paperwork says to check in 15 mins before the these people were 45 mins late. Giving us less time. Once arrived we had to sit on the bus 15 more mins while tour guide went and got all of our tickets. She disappeared for return trip. After a terrible drive back to London he dropped us on a side street in Victoria. No one had any idea which way to tube, or train, or bus station where we started. He did ask for a tip. This was Premium Tours. I would not use them again. The Making of Harry Potter Tour was good, I would find another way to get there.

Seeing the sets gave the story more meaning for me. The tour lasts a bit over 2 hours but it seems so quick

An experience that is sure to fulfill all the longings for the Wizarding World
    Gabe_M, Jan 2023
Being able to walk in the very footsteps of the actors when they were making the films was truly a marvel. The legitimacy and devotion that was put into these films was undeniable and being able to experience the studio firsthand was a true gift. Thanks to JK Rowling, the actors, Warner bros., and all the brilliant workers for making the wizarding world a reality. Whether Muggle, half-blood, or pure-blood the doors are open all the same so come as you are into this magical world.
    Magical experience
