Hagrid and our tour of London.
Hagrid, aka John. Was a litt of fun and well informed. We saw things other than just Harry Potter related. The tour was very interactive and funny.
Sam was a wonderful tour guide, balancing content and activity and making it fun for everyone, adults and children, rich with Harry Potter insider-type knowledge and additionally other information and stories about the London streets and sites. Our time ran over, Sam generously making sure we saw everything, and the tour taking us on a boat when the tube station was down. Just right. Great experience, thank you!
Even though I was sorted as a Hufflepuff, I still had an awesome time! My guide Jack was great fun, with a good sense of humour and lots of knowledge of the Harry Potter universe! I went alone and made friends on the tour and really enjoyed nerding out with everyone! This tour was great and I would recommended to anyone who even remotely likes Harry Potter!⚡️
Jacob was a great guide and host to our Potter competition! It was very interesting to discover that places we were passing through were used as filming locations. I had passed several days before without recognizing them. The ambiance was excellent and the fact that it was interactive with bits of movie extracts made it much more lively than classical tours. I recommend it strongly even to non English speaking tourists as it is easy to follow and participate if you’re a potter head. Many thanks Jacob!
I was a bit underwhelmed to be honest. Its probably a good tour for kids though and its cheap. Our group was just way too big with at least 30 and so it was so slow and was missing that personal interaction that makes a great tour. There was plenty of trivia for HP fans and the guides know their stuff about the movies. You do get to see some seriously old bits of London where they filmed various scenes. I was hoping for more and so not sure I would recommend. Definitely much further to walk than 2km - more like 4km. If you are after a photo at Platform 9 3/4 then be prepared to wait a long time.......
our guide john was great! very knowledgeable, funny, and helpful. definitely worth the money. we were lucky to have this tour on our first day in london. jon showed us how to go about the tube and buses. discussed the oyster card. it was not.only a harry potter tour but actually a walking tour of london. thank you john.
