Overview

Harry Potter fans don't want to miss this 2-hour walking tour in London. With a guide, you'll be sorted into one of the four magical houses of Hogwarts and then go on an exploration of the city's filming locations. When booking, select your preferred time of departure and day of the week.
  • 2-hour Harry Potter walking tour of London
  • Enjoy friendly competition with an interactive tour that includes trivia quizzes
  • See filming locations for Diagon Alley and the Ministry of Magic
  • Pass by some of London's top sights, such as St. Paul's Cathedral and London Bridge
Your walking tour starts outside the Palace Theatre, where Harry Potter and the Cursed Child is showing, to meet your guide and find out what Hogwarts house you'll be in for the next two hours.
Then set off on your journey around town, enjoying Harry Potter trivia quizzes from your guide along the way to earn points for your house. With an animated scoreboard, video clips of movie scenes, costume pieces, and reenactments, this is an interactive experience that allows you to live out your Harry Potter dreams in London. You also have the chance to use your spell knowledge to outwit members of other houses.
During your walking tour, pass by filming locations such as the entrance to Diagon Alley, the entrance to the Leaky Cauldron, and the bridge that was destroyed in Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. Walk along Charing Cross Road to follow in the footsteps of Deatheaters, visit the inspiration for Knocturn Alley, and see the location of the Ministry of Magic. Walk through Leicester Square, Trafalgar Square, past St. Paul's Cathedral, and along the Thames, and see the Borough Market and London Bridge. Your tour ends at Platform 9 3/4, where you'll find out the final score of each house.
It is recommended that you wear comfortable shoes and weather-appropriate clothing.

Hagrid and our tour of London.

Hagrid, aka John. Was a litt of fun and well informed. We saw things other than just Harry Potter related. The tour was very interactive and funny.
Great tour and guide!

Sam was a wonderful tour guide, balancing content and activity and making it fun for everyone, adults and children, rich with Harry Potter insider-type knowledge and additionally other information and stories about the London streets and sites. Our time ran over, Sam generously making sure we saw everything, and the tour taking us on a boat when the tube station was down. Just right. Great experience, thank you!
Fun tour

Even though I was sorted as a Hufflepuff, I still had an awesome time! My guide Jack was great fun, with a good sense of humour and lots of knowledge of the Harry Potter universe! I went alone and made friends on the tour and really enjoyed nerding out with everyone! This tour was great and I would recommended to anyone who even remotely likes Harry Potter!⚡️
Very amusing and entertaining for Potter heads

Jacob was a great guide and host to our Potter competition! It was very interesting to discover that places we were passing through were used as filming locations. I had passed several days before without recognizing them. The ambiance was excellent and the fact that it was interactive with bits of movie extracts made it much more lively than classical tours. I recommend it strongly even to non English speaking tourists as it is easy to follow and participate if you’re a potter head. Many thanks Jacob!

I was a bit underwhelmed to be honest. Its probably a good tour for kids though and its cheap. Our group was just way too big with at least 30 and so it was so slow and was missing that personal interaction that makes a great tour. There was plenty of trivia for HP fans and the guides know their stuff about the movies. You do get to see some seriously old bits of London where they filmed various scenes. I was hoping for more and so not sure I would recommend. Definitely much further to walk than 2km - more like 4km. If you are after a photo at Platform 9 3/4 then be prepared to wait a long time.......

The tour was fantastic and Tom was a great guide. Only disappointment was the souvenir; which was just a card. There also should be more trivia questions!
