A really interesting and informative tour. Our guide, Amy, was super energetic and knew her stuff. The ripper-vision projected images were a nice touch.
Really great tour guide - humour, exciting, interesting.
Very good and low price. I would recommend it to everybode already recommended a friend
Tour guide had a very good grasp of Jack's history and location, had good visuals both photos and projections. She kept a long tour always interesting and dealt well with handling a surprisingly large group for a walking tour.
Took this tour with Jamie on September 22nd. It seemed as though the tour had been oversold, very crowded but Jamie handled it beautifully! The sights were very interesting, and Jamie was a wonderful guide - very witty! Enjoyed it tremendously and would recommend it to anyone!
Lizzie was excellent with the right amount of humour and knowledge of the facts. Longer tour than expected and quite a bit of walking.
Totally loved this tour. As night fell so did the rain which set the scene perfectly for this tour. Our guide Andre was fantastic, he totally brought the whole experience to life. An experience that will not be forgotten!
This tour was so much fun. Out tour guide dressed in time period clothes and was a thrill to listen to and watch. We went to parts of the city you wouldnt have ever seen if not for the tour. It was very insightful to see the actual sites of where these murders took place. Great tour!
Jamie was a wonderful tour guide. Very knowledgeable and entertaining.
Our guide wasn't just repeating facts he was a historian who is a 'Ripper' expect conducting his own research and sharing those revelations with the attendees. We walked all through the Whitechapel area of London and he brought to life the conditions of the times and aspects of the crimes I didn't know about but gave me nightmares that evening. We were fortunate to have drawn the straw that gave us this tour guide, how could I forget his name, he was incredible. My daughter said he was by far the most interesting tour guide yet and we took a lot of tours! He even wrote a book on the subject.
Really enjoyed this tour! Our guide, Lizzie, was lovely! I admittedly was disappointed when I realized that because of our group size, we were going to be split into two groups. I was hoping to be in Johnny and #39;s group because I had read great reviews for him, but our small group w/Lizzie was perfect!!!
Our tour guide was HILARIOUS and she knew EVERYTHING about the victims, the neighborhood and the theories surrounding the murders! There were way more stops than I had anticipated and with Ripper-vision, we were able to see actual pictures from the time of the buildings and the gory victims.
Great tour! We went on this tour the evening of our arrival in London. The only disappointment was the Ripper-Vision, it was not dark enough for the hand held projector. Instead the guide used pictures which was okay. The tour guide was a lot of fun and very of informative. Be prepared for a lot of walking.
tour was excellent and engaging - thanks to Mick and his stories along the way! probably would have been good to know how long the walk was before we went on the tour though

This was a greatly entertaining tour: Mick was an amazing guide! Dressed for the part, he was a great storyteller leading us along each of Jack the Ripper's ghastly murders in the streets of Whitechapel, peppering each stopping point with illustrations and descriptions that are guaranteed to haunt your dreams. Just what you'd expect from a tour like this. Since the weather was so nice that evening, he also did not hesitate to take a few detours to show us a few extra's! Highly recommended.
Fantastic! The tour guide was amazing! He made the tour as interesting as he did scary!! Fantastic tour and would reccomend to everyone!
Awesome run through White Chapel. Our guide was a great story teller and did amazing crowd work. Kept us entertained the whole night. I would highly recommend this tour.
This was a fantastic, super-fun tour. Mick, from Newcastle, our guide, was a true serial killer afficionado, amazingly well-versed in everything Ripper, as well as many other fun grisly murder stories. He was animated, engaged, and engaging. The RIPPER-VISION actually adds to the experience, and is worth seeking out over other Ripper tours that don't offer the extra experience.
One caveat however: this is not for the squeamish. The descriptions are thorough and lurid, and the actual Ripper crime scene sketches and pre-post-mortem and post-post-mortem photographs are pretty gross. I do not flinch at much, but there were a few delights that I could have happily passed up. THIS IS NOT A FAMILY TOUR and is NOT APPROPRIATE for children under a VERY MATURE 13-14.
It is also a fast-paced, very long walk. We covered about 3 miles according to our Fitbits. We would have definitely planned our day a little differently if we had realized that ahead of time. As it was, with the tour beginning at about 7:15, and lasting almost 3 hours, we were done-in at the end of the tour, having walked almost 9 miles that day in total.
I still strongly recommend this tour and Mick, in particular. He made it extra-special.
