Enter the Arrivals Hall after customs and immigration, look for a representative with a blue City Transfers UK sign with your name on it who will meet you next to the designated meeting points in each terminal. Dependant on the state of immigration, customs and baggage clearance times you will be met 45-60 minutes after landing for intercontinental flights and 20-30 minutes after landing for European and domestic flights. Meeting Points for Heathrow airport: Terminal 2 & 3: In front of WHSmith / Terminal 4 & 5: In front of Costa Coffee. Representatives in Heathrow airports will be wearing blue jackets. Meeting Points for Gatwick/Luton/Stansted airports: All terminals: In front of Costa Coffee. Meeting Points for London City airport: Arrivals Hall.

  • Children: All infants & children are charged as full fare paying passengers. Should infants/children require a special car seat, this is payable direct to driver at an additional GBP10 per journey and must be requested in advance. Please note that the above may not be available in all areas at all times. Should a car seat not be available on the date of service, infants can still travel as per UK laws.
  • Luggage Restrictions: Large items such as skis, surfboards, wheelchairs (excluding foldable) & golf bags are not permitted under any circumstances. Likewise, any excessive luggage requirements of more than airline standard of 1 suitcase and one carry on per passenger should be checked with City Transfers UK at time of booking.
  • IMPORTANT: Transfers are held until 90 minutes from your actual flight arrival time. If delayed in customs, you must call toll-free 0800 389 8368 from any UK payphone or 0208 969 2777 from a mobile or landline before the 90 minutes has elapsed or you may miss your transfer.

We could not find the driver. Took us a long time to get through by phone. By the time we got a response, it was too late. We had to take a regular cab...

Driver was not at arrival area. Phone call to Viator confirmed he would be at least 40 minutes late. I arranged for another service. Viator customer service was very understanding and issued a refund immediately. Based upon this prompt service I will try them again.

The guy from City tours who I was supposed to meet in the arrivals hall was in the parking garage when I arrived. Upon not seeing anyone I called the number I was provided, got put on hold and then disconnected. I then found him and he said he had just seen my driver but we couldn’t find him for 10 min as he was in the bathroom. The driver couldn’t find my hotel so he dropped me off a block and a half away. My husband was here before me and I was on the phone with him but I asked the driver not to leave until my husband showed up and he got in the car and drove off leaving me and my luggage on the curb.

Our plane was on time, our driver wasn’t. The steward for the company had to track down our driver. We waited 45 min. to an hour before someone was found to drive us to our hotel.
Won't use Viator again at Heathrow

We booked a Viator private transfer from Heathrow to Westminster, as we knew we would be flying all night and thought it would be easier for someone to meet us at the airport and get us to our hotel. Our flight was about 30 minutes late, so we were surprised no one was waiting for us in arrivals. After waiting about 10 minutes, we called the number with our booking and waited on hold for 5 minutes. The person on the phone told us our driver was in the airport and was no more than 5 minutes away. About 40 minutes later, a driver showed up. He didn't apologize or explain being late, didn't help with bags, or say anything other than "follow me". After following him through the airport to a parking garage, he led us to an empty parking spot and said "wait here while I get car". This is not what we expected or have experienced with previous transfers from airports. We expected someone to be waiting for us with a sign and to walk us to a car waiting in arrivals. After about 15 minutes, he walked back over to us and said "I can't find car" and then walked away. At this point, we were looking for other options on our phones.... About 30 minutes later, he pulled up in a minivan. We loaded our luggage, he drove us to our hotel without saying anything during the entire drive, and dropped us off. Needless to say, we did not tip him. We booked this transfer to make things easier... As it turns out, it would have been less stressful, much cheaper, and would have saved time to either book a train or use the underground. We won't be using Viator again from Heathrow.

Our driver was late. He was not waiting for us and was not wearing a blue jacket. It took 2 hours to get to our hotel and he didn't put the a.c. on. Windows open and he smelled

We had a driver who was weaving in and out of traffic and driving at unsafe speeds. Passing others, getting honked at and making us feel very uncomfortable with 2 kids in the car.

Other than there was no driver or car when we landed and called the phone number listed, I was told 5 minutes and they would be there. After finally finding a rep , and he called and was told 5 minutes, 40 minutes later we were in a car. The driver was great.
