Journey through London’s darkest days with a fast-access pass to London Dungeon. This chilling sensory experience includes elaborate staging, interactive attractions and engaging performance. Witness gruesome scenes including the horrors of London’s notorious killers, the putrescence of the Great Plague and the Great Fire of 1666. The stout of heart may choose to step into the shoes of a victim on the gallows on ‘Extremis: Drop Ride to Doom’!
Make your way to the London Dungeon and join the fast-access queue. As you cross the threshold, allow yourself to be transported back to the most grisly periods of London’s long history – all based on true events! Top-notch theatrical actors greet you at every turn, reenacting disturbing histories such as Jack the Ripper’s murderous rampage through the Whitechapel slums and Sweeney Todd’s to-die-for coiffure. Come face-to-face with the bloodthirsty barber – and butcher! – of Fleet Street, but try to keep your head and not end up in a meat pie!
As you make the approximate 90-minute walk through the dungeons, experience highlights (or lowlights) of London’s history through exceptional stages and special effects. Rile at the smells and sights of the plague and experience the doomed fate of Henry VIII’s victims as you ride through Traitors’ Gate to your death. Learn about the Great Fire of 1666, and discover the absurdity of 18th century prosecution in an entertaining simulated trial – complete with mad judge! (Please see full list of attractions in the Itinerary below; subject to change)
Don't leave without taking a heart-stopping ride on Extremis: Drop Ride to Doom! Test your nerve as you become a victim at the gallows. At the mercy of the hangman, experience the final moments of terror and the spike of adrenaline as the floor opens and you plummet into darkness!
End your visit with a stop into the newly opened Victorian Pub. Soak up the spectacle of 19th century London revelry as you sip on a beer, gin cocktail or non-alcoholic beverage (one drink included with admission; additional drinks available for purchase).
Please note: This ticket is only available for purchase online and guarantees entry to the London Dungeon through a dedicated entrance. Tickets purchased at the door will require you to book for the next available slot, which could be much later in the day.
This was a fantastic experience! It is a lot of walking and standing for smaller kids. It's a bit frightening in places, but we had 8s and a 10 and they loved it!
Was so tacky but so much fun!
An entertaining way to learn a little history.
Loved it. Will come again.
My brother and I thought it was fun and entertaining! Overall, a great experience!
It was great fun! My 17 year-old daughter and I both enjoyed it.
Not scary as i thought but very entertatining! Funny! Wait till the end... Loved this!
This was fantastic. loved every minute of it. it was like interactive theater. the actors tried to get everyone involved and did a fantastic job. we learned a lot about the death in old London either by the way of disease or the touch of a human violent bunch not for anyone under the age of 12.
Everybody should have seen the original Dungeon!
