London Evening Bike Tour

Greet your knowledgeable guide at a central Southwark location and listen to a brief safety talk before donning your helmet and beginning an explorative evening in the capital. Follow your guide at a leisurely pace and cycle towards the romantic River Thames as the sun slowly begins its descent.

Cruise past the iconic London Eye and listen to tales surrounding its recent construction and cultural significance. Stop at magnificent sights like the Royal Courts of Justice in the City of London, and gain fascinating insight into the plagues, fires and bombs that have attempted to destroy the central enclave.

Gaze at the legendary structure of Tower Bridge in the ambient light of evening and then stop for a brief interlude in a charming and historical pub. Revitalize with a drink (own expense) and then continue to the north side of the river for further exploration. Stare at the vertiginous summit of the Monument to the Great Fire of London, the largest free standing column in the world, and then head to the ancient Tower of London.

Listen to legends surrounding the majestic fortress and then pedal to Leadenhall Market to admire dramatic arches featured in Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone. Great way to see London from a different perspective. Our guide Matt was very personable and knowledgeable. Thoroughly enjoyed the well organised tour around London. Nice to meet fellow tourists as well. I would recommend this trip - the fact we had a beautiful balmy evening definitely helped as well.

We have figured when travelling abroad the most effective way to look at a new city is by going on a bike tour. So with this in mind we booked the Fat Tire Sunset Bike Tour in London and we were totally amazed and delighted with the result. The tour guides very extremely friendly, patient and so knowledgable of London and all its history. We came away with a more indepth and hands on look at London than what we could ever see from a bus. The tour was prefectly timed so that when we rode onto the London bridge it was dusk and the spectacular vista of Tower bridge with her lights was breath taking. We found that we went back to the special little places a few days later to have a good look at and realising the we wouldn't have known that they were there if not for the bike tour. I 100% recommend this tour to any one visiting London

This was an awesome tour. Jamie was an excellent guide and had lots of interesting information to share. Visited all the sights I wanted to visit. We kept a perfect pace and all got to know each other by the end. The stop at the pub at the end was a good time, too. I'd definitely recommend this for a fun, relaxing night in London.

It was a great quick way to see London! I only had a few hours for my layover so this was perfect timing for a tour: 6pm - 10pm.

One of the best tours we took. The guide was friendly and educated and it covered south London at night in a spectacular way.
