Along the way, enjoy the lilting background music courtesy of the resident pianist, and savor a classic English afternoon tea. Sip on freshly brewed teas and coffee, and dig into an assortment of freshly prepared finger sandwiches and cakes, as well as scones served with Cornish clotted cream and strawberry preserves. See the Itinerary for a sample menu.

If you wish, upgrade to enjoy a reserved window seat and a glass of chilled Champagne with your tea. Feel the bubbles tickle your palate as you savor your sandwiches, cakes and scones: a perfect finishing touch to make the occasion extra special.

Extremely nice, not touristy at all. Unlike some places they did not mind that I was a solo traveler and even gave me an extra glass of champagne for free. We were fortunate to have lovely weather and I saw London from a whole different angle have been here before but never down the river. One thing to note: there is no commentary telling you what you are looking at, so you'd do well to familiarize yourself with a map or guidebook before you get on the boat. I had a local person behind me who was describing all the buildings to his relatives so I had a little extra tour guide experience. It's still enjoyable though even if you're not aware you're passing one of the oldest pubs in London, an office building that once reflected light to set a car on fire in the street, etc.

This was by far my favorite part of my whole trip in London. Great staff. Lovely atmosphere. The tea and finger foods were delicious. My favorite were the scones. Mmm so good. Piano music was a wonderful background to float down the River Thames to. All in all must excellent fun.

I took my aunt on this as a welcome to UK - she was thrilled with the experience. Only wish it could have lasted longer - it was such a pleasant experience. The pianist was excellent.

This was a great lazy way to view some of our fantastic buildings in London, new and old, and have a really lovely afternoon cream tea. This was a perfect way to spend the afternoon before going to the Royal Albert Hall to see Swan Lake. I have told a friend and I will definitely be coming back with her.
