What You Can Expect

London Thames River Evening Cruise

Enjoy a wonderful cruise on the Thames River

Your luxurious evening cruise departs from Westminster Pier. Make your way there with plenty of time for the early evening departure, and stroll the open-air deck as you embark on a leisurely float along London’s historic River Thames. Find a seat in the indoor saloon, enjoy live music and help yourself to a glass of sparkling wine and delicious, hand-passed nibbles. Then relax and admire dazzling views of the city landmarks at dusk.

Heading first past Westminster, you’ll witness the Houses of Parliament and Big Ben bathed in a sunset glow. Glide past the London Eye and Shakespeare’s famous Globe Theatre, a historic Elizabethan monument and active events venue. Then spot the city's distinctive glass towers, the Gherkin and the Shard – London’s tallest building at 1,016 feet (310 meters) in height. Across the river, the mystery-laden Tower of London offers stark juxtaposition to these modern constructions, reminding viewers of London’s rich and colorful history.

The final leg of your cruise takes you to Greenwich Pier, passing Canary Wharf and the magnificent Cutty Sark, one of the world’s last intact clipper ships. From here, your boat will make its way back to Westminster Pier. As you cruise through the descending night, treat yourself to a drink from the onboard bar (own expense).  Your 2-hour tour returns with plenty of time to hit the town.

We loved this cruise. They provided one glass of champagne and appetizers all night, cash bar after the initial glass of champagne. Beautiful view of various sites along the Thames. Would highly recommend this cruise.

We did this on our last night in London and it was the perfect ending to our trip! Even our two sons 21 and 18 enjoyed it very much. We were lucky and had beautiful weather that night, so we sat up top. We came prepared with hats, jackets, scarves and gloves, but it was surprising to us how many people stayed below. It was very nice inside with live music and canapes, but even with the large windows it seemed hard to see the beautiful London skyline. And the glass of sparkling wine was a wonderful touch!

The staff was very friendly and engaging, and the trip was much longer than I had anticipated! My boyfriend and I had plenty of time to enjoy a bottle of wine and the many rounds of canapes. I planned this for his birthday, as the London Eye was closed for annual maintenance, and it proved to be the perfect thing! Although it was the 20th of January, we spent the entire return route on the open air deck above, snuggling up and enjoying the lights.

A really nice experience. The boat in a excellent conditions with all the crew aboard with a smile in their faces and a very good service. We enjoy passing though all the best spots in London: The Elizabeth Tower with its Big Ben Clock, The Parliament, Tate Modern Museum and specially The London Bridge that we admire it thoughtfully and the best thing: we took great pictures in a different perspective. Very nice ride!
