Your time-travel tour begins at the Hard Rock Café in Richmond, where you’ll board a vintage 1960s Routemaster bus to begin your tour of west London.
With 60s hits playing in the background, your guide directs your attention to locations significant to the decade: see iconic music venues such as Chelsea Drug Store, immortalised by the Rolling Stones, and a psychedelic boutique whose customers included Jimi Hendrix and The Beatles.
Proceed to the Half Moon Pub in Putney, where allegedly live music has been played every evening since its 1963 opening, and see the Olympic Studios in Barnes, where Abbey Road was filmed.
See, too, the homes of celebrated 60s musicians and Twickenham Film Studios, where The Beatles filmed ‘Help!’ and ‘A hard Day’s Night’, before ascending to the summit of Richmond Hill to enjoy panoramic vistas of London.
The tour concludes outside of Richmond station, which has fast connections to central London.
