excellent, you get to see the most of cotswold and the lunch was amazing.. our guide was great
The guide was knowledgable and had a good sense of humor!
The sites were interesting to visit!
It was a great tour! We did not have much time in each town, to do shopping for instance , but it was really lovely. Some shop owners were so lovely and is sending goods per mail, that we contacted them about when time, that day was of the essence. Lunch was gorgeous too. Well worth it. Thanks very much!
I give this tour top rating. Our guide, James, was friendly and informative, and the trip pacing, for me, was just right. This tour featured a delicious trout (or pasta) lunch in Bourton, and three other brief, roughly 45- to 60-minute stops in two other Cotswolds towns and in Stratford Upon Avon, where you can sightsee without the guide. The stop in Stratford was a bit short for my first time there (and whetted my appetite to see more) but for the Cotswolds towns, the visits were the perfect length for walking and photographing scenery. (Big boutique shoppers might need more time.) The tour was active and full, but didn't leave you feeling rushed. (I'm 44; maybe it would seem a bit slow for younger folks?) The Cotswolds, of course, is lovely. It rained all day, but that only put a slight damper on the trip.
Everything was fantastic, especially the deep and entertaining knowledge of our wonderful guide. I only wish we had more time for everything.
Brilliant day out. Loved the Cotswolds, loved the trout lunch and our driver and tour guide, Dean and James respectively were worth their weight in gold. Only and afternoon tea with scones, jam and clotted cream could have improved the day. Thank you.
Solo female ...
This was a wonderful day and would recommend this tour. Our knowledgeable tour guide's sense of humour entertained us on the long bus trip. Lunch at the Swan was fabulous - fresh trout and fruit berry crumble - and relaxed. Gorgeous scenery...great day.
An opportunity to see the beautiful English countryside. The towns were post card perfect. Lunch in Bibury at The Swan was lovely; much nicer than we expected!
This was a well conducted tour with a guide who really knew his stuff. The included lunch greatly exceeded our expectations. A most enjoyable day.
We had previously been to the Cotswolds, but only through a 12 day tour which didn't go through the villages which was disappointing. This tour did the villages and the atmosphere was wonderful. Would thoroughly recommend to everyone to take this tour.
Another excellent day though the organisation at Victoria Station is a bit of a shambles.
I really enjoyed the scenery, there is so much greenery around in the country side. We had a great guide, he was easy to understand and wanted to tell you everything he could about this part of his country. The lunch at the Bibury Trout Farm at the Swan Hotel. They raise their own trout and serve you the whole trout for lunch however, you have to debone it. You also get vegetables and desert along with it, it was good. However, if you don't eat fish they serve a vegetarian dish. The town is small but, quaint, it's like your back in another century. We went to a few other small towns that were all very quaint. Avon on the Stratford was very nice, we saw the home where Shakesphere grew up, where his daughters lived, etc. it was a pretty town and lots of history. This was a very enjoyable tour.
Was a beautiful day out, made even more special by the great people we got to know for a day, had good laughs and conversation. Definately worth doing.
