Private Tour: Traditional Taxi Tour of London's Hidden Treasures

Depart from your central London hotel or prearranged meeting point in a classic black cab. Then sit back in the comfortable, padded seats and take in the sights as your private driver-guide whisks you around the city.

Pass by Tower Bridge, the Tower of London, Buckingham Palace, Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament, Westminster Abbey, St Paul’s Cathedral, Trafalgar Square and other world-famous sights and attractions. You’ll stop outside each landmark to take photos and learn about it from your private guide.

Then, set off in search of the city’s little curiosities that most visitors don’t get to see. See London’s smallest houses and square, discover Henry VIII’s cow shed and tennis court, and visit shops that are more than 300 years old and still trading. You’ll also pass a medieval banquet hall, Sir Winston Churchill’s cigar chair, Roman baths and a house with fake windows.

Upgrade to include an additional hour of sightseeing, should you wish.

Your tour concludes in central London after three or four hours, depending on the tour option selected.

David was an amazing tour guide. As first time visitors to London, it was a great way to get a feel for the city. David was very knowledgeable, professional, and friendly. Highly recommend!!!

We had a short 2 day stay in London, so we decided to take the 4-hour long cab tour. That's was the best thing we could have done. Our Driver, Andrew, was fantastic! Not only he took us to must see places, i.e. Abby Rd, Buckingham Palace, etc, but he also showed us some hidden gems, like a 1800's cad shelter near Paul McCartney's home where he has been known to hang out to play an acoustic guitar.

Great tour with a highly skilled driver whose knowledge of London history and ability to navigate the complicated street system of London was quite phenomenal.

Really love this tour and REALLY worth it of our money. The driver not only go to places that we want to but he'll find a good spot for us to take a picture. this isn't only drive around city but yes you stop and take a picture. The driver friendly with kid as well. So if you have short time in London do this tour plus you can experience black cab because only in UK. :

Our driver was great. He had many fun facts about life in London both past and present. We had two children 10 and 7 with us for the 3 hour tour and he kept them engaged as well. Great job!

This is an excellent tour! There were two couples and Richard Liddle provided exactly what we wanted: an overview of the London area as well as some of it's lesser known sights. We took the 4 hour tour and Richard made sure that we got the most bang for our buck! He also gave us advice on other places to visit while we were in London and the best time to go, etc. In addition, at the end of the tour he dropped us off where we wanted to go instead of back to our hotel. He also gave us a fantastic recommendation for lunch and took us to the Queen's chocolatier for a free sample of her favorite chocolate! It was a great but not cheap place to buy souvenirs.

I would also like to recommend Viatour in general. This is the 3rd European tour we've booked from the US and they have all been excellent. It can be daunting to book online in a foreign country, but Viatour has not disappointed us.

We had an awesome experience! Our driver, Mick, was very knowledgeable and his love for London was very evident. I would highly recommend this trip to anyone. We were a little disappointed however that our trip was to be a 4 hour tour and it ended almost an hour early.

Our guide was Andrew. He did a fantastic job of focusing on what our interests were and making sure we saw London as we wished. Andrew was a fountain of information! We learned so much about London and England! Loved the fact that we could ask questions of our guide unlike a hop on hop off tour. Black Cab tour was by far our favorite part of our London vacation. Fantastic experience!!!

We had the very good fortune of being led on tour by Andrew. He is the original real deal Londoner and we loved hearing about London's history from him. This was a highlight of our trip and a great way to see some great bits of London since we had only two days to explore. Thank you Andrew!
