Our guide Micheal was awesome very knowledgeable , he really made the trip.Would do it all again.
I traveled from London to Paris on the train on a Saturday back in late July of 2017. I believed the tour guide's name was Michael, a tall man with a beard. He was a good host and informative. Everything mentioned in the tour description was available and done. Paris is a city you'll have to visit more than once to capture a lot of things. I was satisfied with my tour.
SUGGESTION!!!!!! When people arrive at the Paris train station, it'll be best to have everyone walk to a platform number like 3 or 5,...... because it'll be easier to find instead of saying walk to the end of the platform or whatever. Pretty much have a more noticeable meeting point. Have the host holding a sign with a stick.
Excellent tour, tour guide was very accommodating. I got to see all and more then I had expected. I would use Golden Tours again
Started early, taking the 613a eurostar train at St. Pancras to Gare de Nord station. From London St. Pancras, we were greeted by
a representative from Golden Tours and given our tickets and brochure. The Eurostar train was relaxing with free wifi onboard. The rustic
view of both London and France countryside were refreshing, getting out of my usual Northern NJ city, hustle-and-bustle lifestyle. At Gare
de Nord station, we were greeted by Florence our energetic tour guide and boarded our comfortable bus to the city of Paris. While
viewing the city and her highlights inside the bus, Florence gave us the historical account of the city, its famous statutes, boulevards,
arch, river, Louvre, and of course the grand Eiffel Tower. We spent a good two hours on the Louvre and another two hours in Eiffel Tower.
The scenic Seine river cruise was about an hour. Another two hours inside the bus driving around the majestic view of this great city. I would recommend this trip with Florence and Golden Tours. A nouveau a Paris.

A long day but great experience. A great chance to travel on the channel tunnel train and then experience Parisian highlights. Seine cruise, Louvre and Eiffel Tower. Pity the weather wasn't great but the city is a highlight.
My trip to Paris for a first timer was amazingly too short, but it was a day trip. Michael my guide was very proud of his country and knowledgeable with information shared during our tour. The bus driver was a very good driver to be able to maneuver his bus safely into such a busy traffic. the museum was amazing, so much rich art and so much history short time didn't get to see half of it. but it was worth the trip. Will travel with Viator again.
It is all look Beauiful and I must say thank to guided. I am deaf but very smoothies guide everthere
If you are short on time and only have one day to see Paris, I would highly recommend selecting this tour. We had a blast! The guide was great and we felt it was good value for what we paid.
This was a long day. But it was the best way to experience Paris in a day. I thoroughly enjoyed the river cruise. The views from the boat were amazing.
This was truly an amazing tour, our guide Micahel was excellent guide, his advice and knowledge were outstanding!
I had an amazing time on this tour. I honestly cannot recommend it enough. Booking was a breeze and the tour company wonderfully handled a problem that I had 100 created by my own stupidity. That alone would have earned the tour 5 stars.
The tour was thoroughly planned and executed from start to finish. The meeting place at the train station was easy to find. Check in with Eurostar went smoothly. The train was a great time to grab a nap. When I arrived in Paris, I had no problem finding the gentleman leading our tour. We all headed to the bus and went on a driving tour of Paris. If you can go on a Saturday, I would recommend you doing so. A little more time in the city and less traffic means that you get to see more.
After the bus tour, we headed off to the Eiffel Tower. The tour allows you to skip the long lines as you already have a reservation. The tickets allows you on the first and second floor not all the way to the top. The views from the second floor are wonderful and I honestly don't believe that going all the way to the top is necessary. I was on my own exploring the tower for about and hour and a half.
After the tower, my tour meet up and went on an hour cruise down the river. Sit on the left side of the boat for a great view of the catherdral of Notre Dame.
After the boat, it was off to the Louvre and/or free time. Our tour guide gave us suggestions as to what to see. The Louvre is the place that had the most walking for me. I wanted to see as much as possible so I ran around the museum.
We were then brought back to the train station with plenty of time to get checked in.
So to sum it all up, if you would like to see some highlights of Paris but you only have a day, this tour is your bet best!
This trip was a taste of Paris that really left us wanting more! Our tour guide Michael did a great job of showing us all the landmarks. He also provided us with many helpful tips, from what side of the boat to sit on for great pictures, to warning us about taking the stairs down the Eiffel Tower
Great way to see Paris in a day. Tour was well-organized and our bus driver was fantastic. Our tour guide was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. She gave us great tips on how to make the most of each site we visited.
Easy pace and great guide
Some free time
If you only have a day to see Paris, this is a great way to do it. Our guide, Michael, was knowledgeable, helpful, and a good drive to boot! I was lucky as there were only 6 of us in the morning, and 3 in the afternoon, so it felt like having a personal guide. The pace, as you can imagine, is quite busy, with the Eiffel Tower, Seine River Cruise, Musee d'Orsay on a Tuesday, the Louvre the other days, and a highlights ride through Paris. But, you definitely get the sampler platter of the city that way! Michael also had some good suggestions re. places to visit in the short time we had on our own. The Gosselin Patiserrie he suggested was fantastic!
Easy booking and it was very seamless meeting the tour guide in Paris. Highly recommend this tour!
Guide didn't go with us to Eiffel Tower so I don't know what you see from the top and didn't go inside Louvre. But River Cruise was very interesting.
We were so excited for this tour, but unfortunately things didn't go as planned. In the days leading up to the tour, Paris experienced massive flooding. Due to the flooding, the art in the Louvre had to be evacuated and the Louvre was closed. The high water levels in the Seine also meant that the river cruise wouldn't be possible.
Although none of this was the fault of the tour operators, they handled it gracefully. Faced with a group of disappointed tourists, they did everything they could to ensure that we still had a memorable and enjoyable time in Paris. Since we had extra time to spare, we were driven around different areas and able to see many sights such as Moulin Rogue and the Arc de Triomphe. We then did the Eiffel Tower portion of the tour, and were given enough time to wander around the neighborhood or grab a bite to eat. To make up for the parts of the tour that we missed, we were then taken to Notre Dame Cathedral and given free time on our own. The location was ideal, as it allowed for either touring the cathedral, exploring the Latin Quarter, or walking along the Seine.
My husband and I decided we were content with seeing Notre Dame from the outside and chose to spend our time in the Latin Quarter and then taking a walk along the Seine. We had a great time and didn't feel disappointed in the tour despite the change in plans. Our tour guide was very nice and we appreciated everything he did to make the day enjoyable for everyone. We would definitely consider doing this tour again on a return trip to Paris so that we could experience the parts of the tour that we missed.
Awesome is one word to describe this one day tour. This tour covered most of Paris attractions in one day. Keep in mind that if you are including Louvre museum , its not enough time however we were able to cover one section completely. Tour guide Mike was awesome. The transport and the coordination were outstanding. Highly recommend if you are tight on time.
We really enjoyed our tour. We had a great guide. Sorry, I forgot his name. I had made a mistake in booking the tour, and the Viator operators were very helpful in helping me get a date that would work for us. Initially, I was disappointed to get a Monday tour date, as it meant the Louvre was closed, but we had a great trip. There was a small group of us on the Eurostar, and we got to know one another a bit which was a bonus. Security was very tight for the Eiffel tower, with some recent changes, but the guide helped all go well. The Musee d'Orsy was unexpectedly closed by a strike, but the guide gave us some alternate ideas, including visiting a lovely pastry shop a block away, and/or walking the grounds of the Louvre. All agreed that we had more fun than a museum would have been. The guide made good use of all of our bus travel time through Paris, pointing out many historical sites of interest and giving plenty of information. My husband agreed it was well worth the money for the guided tour.
A taste of Paris, not much time to really experience the museum. But all in all, we saw a lot in one day.
The tour allowed us to see Paris as it is visit Eiffel Tower without a line and had plenty of time for Louvre. The river ride down the Sein was awesome. We just didn't enjoy Paris.
However, I would recommend the trip to anyone who truly wants to visit Paris from London
The sites were great. Could have spent a whole day at the Louvre but you're pretty rushed when trying to fit all three things. I recommend taking snacks with you. There is opportunity for quick bite at Eiffle Tower or at the Louvre. Our guide was not the best.
