Busy morning with tourists everywhere. Walked right up to "groups" window to get tickets. Third time to the Tower. Saved hours this time. Do it!
Loved it! The Beefeater tour was funny and in depth. Highly recommend!
It all went like clockwork and we had a great time wandering around the tower, we were also lucky enough to have a hotel right opposite the Tower and Tower Bridge which was a wonderful site both day and night.
This was my seconded time to the tower. I took my granddaughters, who enjoyed the tower.
Excellent tour. We hadn't been to the Tower for a long time and many changes had taken place, making it much better than before. The guided walk with the Beefeater is a must to do.
This will save you a lot of time especially in summer and busy times, Go first thing in the morning as crowds grow even in winter (I went January 19th Sunday)
Stress free, although I forgot my printed sheet at home, but easy enough to print it again at a local cafe. My 10 year old twins loved it, which was the main thing.
I don't think we really needed to buy skip the line tickets for the day we went as the line wasn't that long, but I have heard it being bad before so it's better to be safe then sorry. The Tower itself though is amazing and definitely worth a visit. The first thing you should do is a Beefeater tour to give you an overview and history of the tower before you explore yourself. Make sure you do line up for the Crown jewels, the line was really long but it does move quickly and is worth it.
