Amazing Trip to some most beautiful parts of England.
Lunch in a quaint and fantastic restaurant at a beautiful village was another fantastic experience
Bath as a city also just below my senses off ...
Our tour guide Robert was absolutely amazing. He knew so much about every single location. He brought Stonehenge to life, explaining the numerous theories, the intricacies of the rocks, etc. There and #39;s ample time in each spot. My fav. part was touring Lacock (Harry Potter movie was filmed here)!
This was one of the best tours I've done. I was very lucky that it was a smaller group. The guide, Gavin, was excellent. He did a highlights tour of Bath that allowed us to see the best of Bath. The tour was extremely thorough, giving us the history and background. I would highly recommend this tour and it is a definite must-do if you go to the UK.
An amazing experience. Thank you to David our guide and Robin our bus driver for making our day so memorable. David's knowledge and fun personality was so appreciated. Such a bonus to have a true Bathonian show you around this remarkable city. This day will be etched in our minds for a long time to come.
Really great day trip. Our guide was David, who is actually from Bath and had a lot of great insight into the history of the town. i would definitely do this tour again on a return trip to London!
We had just completed the tour on 3 Oct. Both the guide David and driver really made the whole journey enjoyable and informative. David was able to provide us with all the latest information as he grew up in Bath, and he was also up to date with all the latest findings the Stonehenge.
Despite being a full day tour, David kept good timings, and we have sufficient time to explore each of the 3 places without feeling too rushed.
Keep up the good job, and passion for this tour!
Totally awesome. David and David were our guide and driver. Dave made the trip so enjoyable with his knowledge of all the areas. I'm surprised to say I liked Bath the best, very awesome trip.
Guide was excellent and well informed. Most enjoyable. Very long bus trip the only drawback.
Really cannot find much more to say but the equipment was great, the stops were well chosen and timed and our guide was excellent, wonderful command of each subject and was able to deliver the information as if we were living the story
A long day but excellent tour. First stop was the town of Bath where were saw the Roman Baths and the Abbey. We then went to Castle Combe where we had lunch. We stopped off at a medieval town before going on to Stonehenge. Our two tour guides were very informative and entertaining.
This was worth every penny. Excellent trip. And, as most state, more time in Bath was needed. But don't let that deter you. It was well worth it.
Danielle was a very good tour guide. We did not tour the town of Bath as we toured the Roman Baths so no comment on that part of the tour. Her knowledge of Stonehenge was very good. Also our driver, Ahmet, knew the Stonehenge area well and took us to Woodhenge which was a treat. He was also very impressive getting us back to London on time. This was important as we had dinner reservations. Cotswolds was mainly lunch, not much guided tour there.
I loved this tour! It's a long day but full of great places: Bath where the Roman Baths are, the Cotswolds - a charming little village with the thatched roofs where we also had lunch, and Stonehenge. Stonehenge was so cool!! And cool as in temperatures too! Very windy. The bus parks in the parking lot and then you walk to the large museum/ticket office building and pick up a small shuttle that takes you to the henge. Here, you walk around the henge and can get a different perspective of it from every angle. Depending on the number of visitors, the boundary ropes around it are moved. The day I went they were quite a ways from the henge but it didn't stop me from getting great pictures. Back in the '70s you could walk right up to the henge and even stand on the rocks for a picture! Our tour guide spoke about the henge for a while and then we were free to walk around it on our own and walk back to the shuttle as long as we were back at the bus by a certain time. This gave us time to visit the gift shop and the museum too. Bath is a small town but cool stuff to see. Unfortunately, seeing the Roman Baths wasn't included so I chose to purchase a ticket. Because I had very little time I walked through it very quickly - not ideal but I wanted to take advantage of being there. It's very cool inside to see but it does take some time to really see it properly. They have audios you can get for narrated tours but I can't recall if they are free or not. I didn't get one since I didn't have the time.. Overall, a very cool tour!!
One of the highlights of my week's stay in London, this was a fantastic way to touch on very different aspects of the surrounding region without an extraordinary amount of planning, perfect for someone like me who was on a relatively short trip and wanted to see as much as possible. I highly recommend the Cotswolds to those travelers who love to walk in environs steeped in a feeling of history and the creative activities of the mind that ensue. Our guide, David, offered plenty of context and answered questions with ease, clearly passionate about his work. The included food was excellent, and there were no shortage of opportunities to grab snacks along the way I myself visited a bakery and had an ice cream cone. Great valuedo it!
We had a great time on this tour! Our tour guide was very nice, and we enjoyed each of the places we went to. Bath was so much more beautiful and interesting than we had anticipated. The Cotswolds were quaint and charming, and Stonehenge was a must-see for the travel bucket list! Wonderful tour!
Wonderful experience! The tour was wonderful and very lovely, especially with our tour guide David who was extremely attentive and informative. He kept the tour fun and interesting, and even took care of my food allergies during lunch. The tour itself was great, you get plenty of time to see every place we went to, and was extremely well organized. I highly recommend it, and if you can, try and go with David - he's the best!
It was my 3rd visit to England and this is one of the best tour.
A wonderful day! David was an excellent guide. He was informative with a friendly manner. He made meeting points and times very clear and was always available to answer questions or provide more information. We even got an extra bonus of a visit to Lacock which wasn't in the original schedule. All the Harry Potter fans loved seeing places they'd used for filming.
We absolutely loved this day trip! Guy did a brilliant job guiding and informing as we toured the charming English countryside. If you have plenty of time in your travels I would suggest spending a whole day in Bath, but if you're wanting to experience as much as possible in a few short days this is perfect.
Fantastic trip! Well worth the money. It was beautifully planned and we had the best guide, Guy. He was knowledgeable, warm and friendly, and entertaining. Guy is the best guide we have had on our tours.
Long day trip but very worthwhile. Cotswolds is absolutely gorgeous, wouldn't mind staying there longer. The Roman Baths were interesting and the special little surprise visit for Harry Potter fans was amazing. Tour guide was very knowledgeable, he is originally from Bath, was good to have a local insight.
Fantastic! The tour guides were very knowledgeable and worked well together. Loved Bath and Cotswold and Stonehenge was amazing!
Pros: Stonehenge obviously was amazing but really enjoyed the audio tour given by our tour guide, great addition. Lunch that is included is worth the cost and experience.
Cons: Loads of walking if you and #39;re not up for that. Bath has an extra cost so read details of tour before booking.
