Was so nervous about going, but the tour was perfect. Had a great guide and loved every minute of our tour!
Fantastic!! Stonehenge in February was sunny but COLD... there was a wind blowing through and the time there is just enough time to see it, go to the facilities, have a coffee to warm up and then head to Bath.... Bath was INCREDIBLE... the whole city is quite the site backed up by UNESCO... and the Abbey is amazing, 3000 graves inside, the same as Westminster, and you can take pictures inside. The first King of England was crowned there Edgar.... very beautiful, everything there.... tour guide was knowledgeable and then had his own humor commentary/ jokes... wasn't my thing but I appreciated him, overall a pretty great guy.
The trip was amazing and the guide was fantastic - funny with good knowledge of everything. We went to Stonehenge first followed by Bath. The guide gave recommendation for places to eat and visit. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to do a day trip out of London and to see Stonehenge/Bath. We had good amount of time at both Stonehenge and bath. I added the Roman Baths and would recommend that people do this - the whole reason for Bath to exist today.
Loved the opportunity to see Stonehenge.......so windy and cold January but worth the effort! I cant say enough about Bath.........a true delight. I have read many fictional novels that had trips to Bath in them....... never imagined it would look like it does. Stunning, quaint, and full of so much history. Cant remember our tourguides name but he was knowledgeable, witty and fun to listen to. Go to Stonehenge because you need to see it and to think about the mystery surrounding it. See Bath and drink in all of its loveliness! I would go to both again but maybe in spring, summer or fall. The advantage to winter, no crowds!
The trip was very fun for my teenage son and myself. Our tour guide was very informative and amazing. Stonehenge was very, very cold because of the exposure in the open field, so be prepared. Highly recommend.
Worth the money. The travel costs solo would cost more, and we had a nice day. The woman with the pirate flag was our guide and worked out well. You meet at the Victoria bus station, and then off from there. I walked around Bath and did not go in the roman baths. No regrets. Stonehenge was cool as well.
Knowledgable guide and seriously, London's best bus driver. We felt we had a lot of time at both locations particularly Bath and we did not feel rushed as we have with other tours. It was nice to have time to explore Bath and the Roman Baths at our own pace even time for a beer. The guide pointed out interesting points of interest along the way, so there was always something to see and learn about.
Although it was a long day, the weather was beautiful! Stonehenge was beyond words. Then traveling to Bath on village roads made the journey more interesting. Bathe and the Roman Baths were amazing. Nothing luge Bath, and London, during Christmas! A wonderful way to end our London Anniversary trip!
we have a wonderful trip with very experience tour guide, she explain the building of the London and some historical site on the way. Also the arrangement for Bath city is reasonable, so we have enough time to tour the roman bath and surrounding street, also Jane Austen's museum. It took 2 hours to get back to London due to the rush hour. So we can experience the London traffic.
