Nice modern clean boats but above all were the friendly, helpful, knowledgable staff we encountered they are a credit to the company. Thank you for all the assistance.
Forget hop-on-hop-off. Can't board.
, Jun 2019
Friday evening was busy but interesting. Saturday was absolutely useless as the timetable was in tatters and there were too few boats for the people waiting and this frayed the tempers of both staff and passengers. We finally boarded a vessel after about an hour wait. However, on our return to the Greenwich pier we were told that it would be at least a 90 wait for a boat to return to the city, so we had to take the train back. All in all, it is unlikely that you will be able to make full use of hop-on-hop-off so cheaper just to use oyster on this boat. if you can get one at all!!
Great way to get around

We were staying in Greenwich and found this to be an easy and enjoyable to get to many London attractions.
Efficient Thames Exploration, Scenery Not Attractive
, Aug 2018
The Thames Clippers ride was an efficient way to see the sights along the river and the staff was professional and friendly. However, unlike the trip on the Seine, the scenery along the Thames is not very attractive and often downright unsightly. Not a very good way to see London.
Worth taking

While it was rather difficult to find where to board the boat at Waterloo (it's at the London Eye), it was worth the search. We had a beautiful sunny day and saw so much from the water to & from Greenwich.

I rated this tour low because of the cost. Because we toured so much on the first hop off, we were too exhausted to hop on and off anywhere else. Also time was a factor. It would have been considerably less expensive to just use my London Oyster Pass I purchased instead...6 GPS instead of 18 GPS I paid for this pass.

Had a wonderful time. We caught the Roamer right across from our hotel, The Park Plaza River walk, and went to Greenwich. Really enjoyed the trip. Hit Canary Wharf on way back. Best way to travel.

Wonderful way to get around London! Comfortable, clean boats with professional and welcoming crew. We rode the entire circuit with our River Roamer tickets and simply enjoyed the comfort of seeing the city while resting our overused feet and sipping a quite good Cappuccino. I'd highly recommend the Thames Clipper River Roamer: Hop On Hop Off. This is one we will do again when we return.
