Confortable, punctual, and interesting. The guides that entertain the visitors are a mixture of a professional actor and a sailor that is, they are able to invent the most improbable stories and make them sound realistic. This makes the trip even funnier than expected!
A very enjoyable boat ride, on board staff very knowledgable and provided commentary. It only offers four stops but that will take a day or more to do.
Highly recommend this over the hop on hop off buses. We did it twice!!!
This was a good tour. Guide was very good and did a great job highlighting the important things along the way. Went up to Greenwich to see Prime Meridian. Loved it! Hop on hop off option is great!
Great choice to get an overview of the city from the river. The line for the ticket exchange for the voucher is very long, be prepared to wait unless you can get tickets in advance and return for your boarding time. There is a guide on the boat who is knowledgeable about the scenery and historical points of interest. There are bathrooms onboard, a bar to get drinks and snacks. Bring your own snacks and cold drinks to save money and waiting in line. The boats are packed. You can literally get off at various bridge points of landing and/or get back on another boat if you want to visit that area/location. Ticket is good for 24hours. You can of course just get a simple ride from one location to another for a different price, this is used as a part of the transportation system of the city. If you go all the way to the end, Greenwich, be aware that there is a couple hour lag time in the return trip. If you want to spend time visiting and eating in that area, plan ahead. There is some scenery on the way, but it takes about 4 extra hours of your day. Otherwise, get off at the last landing point before this trip around the bend and to Greenwich. There is the Royal Naval Academy museum, and a pub attached, other restaurants throughout the city and clotted cream ice cream vendors, along with street musicians.
Also at the end in Greenwich, and at the end of the return trip back to starting point, there is an announcement for gratuity if you like, then, someone literally stands with a bucket as you walk off the boat. Didn't like that. Overall, this is worth the value. Get your bearings for the sites and then return for your visit/tour of each location you like.
Lovely views of famous sights from the river.Excellent commentaries by staff.Good snacks and drinks .Staff very helpful.Greenich stop very enjoyable
We enjoyed this tour and would recommend it. We especially enjoyed our time in Greenwich with the village feel and slower pace than London. The tower bridge is awesome and it was fun to see all of the homes along the river. The tour guide did a great job giving tidbits of info along the way. It was a fun way to spend the afternoon!
We had 3 hours spare to spend in London after a trip to Harley Street. I used Viator for the first time and will certainly use again to quickly book a circular hop on hop off river boat trip. The booking service was easy, the price was very good, the staff were friendly and valued our custom and the on-board information was interesting, amusing and overall excellent. I have since learnt of the global trips they provide and will certainly use again. GREAT VALUE FOR MONEY SERVICE.
This was nice. I opted to just stay on the boat the entire ride since i had already seen everything previously. The weather was perfect and the cruise was great!
Got us where we needed to go - on the ride to Greenwich we had a very nice man on board that narrated where we were going, history and funny stories instead of the audio tape that they usually play. He was fantastic and we didn't mind putting something in his bucket that he advertised he had when we departed.
However later on another segment when we were coming back to Westminster Pier we heard some of the same history - but not as good or as much - and again another request for us to give money. At that point it was completely inappropriate and should NOT have been asked for. Everyone was returning after a trip up the river and no further narration was needed. Everyone was tired and zoned out from a full day. Staff on the piers off the boats were less than helpful in Greenwich when trying to find out what line to que up in.
Really enjoyed this trip. Easy, fun, the hop-on hop-off feature was great.
Great way to go from London Eye to Tower of London and beat the crowds!
Really great way to get acquainted with the city. Boats run frequently up and down the Thames and on/off is easy. We did this our first day just to keep moving after the long flight. Worked because by the time we finished and got back to the hotel, we passed out from exhaustion.
This tour was amazing. We had been told to book well in advance which we did as we were from Australia. The tour guide was amazing and he was very passionate about his subject. It was very informative and the group listened very respectively which was pleasing. I would recommend this tour to anyone.
This was a great first day for us in London. Got lots of other information on the town as we floated down the Thames. Lots of great photos and plenty to do at every stop. We got 2 different hosts as we got off looked around for over an hour and then got back on. Even though we saw the same things again the presentation was unique enough to hold us captivated a second time.
I thoroughly enjoyed this cruise. The commentary was informative and enjoyable and the sights fantastic. Even the food for sale on the boat was very nice. I would do it again and I recommend it to anyone wanting a fascinating overview of the history of the Thames river and how London developed because of it. Lots of room on the boat to move around and take photos too. Ten out of ten!

A relaxing tour with commentary. We boarded at the Tower Hill Pier near our hotel, then got off at Westminster Pier. Parliament, Big Ben and Westminster Abbey are just a short walk away. Then back on to go to Greenwich Pier where we got off again, had lunch and visited the Royal Observatory and saw the Prime Meridian Line.
We loved seeing the city from the water. The Watermen that navigate the River Thames established 1555!, and their commentary were awesome.
This was great fun and gave us a wonderful way to get a view of the city. I would do this again in a heartbeat. I highly recommend it.
This is a good way to get the lay of the City if you are unfamiliar with London. An unexpected surprise was how much there was to see in Greenwich. We almost did not get off the boat but ended up spending over two hours sightseeing and eating lunch. This might be something to do your first day in London so you have an idea where things are and what you might want to see.
This is a easy and convenient way to first get the lay of the land, and then to decide which spots to visit. It is also a nice way to spend a couple of hours taking in the beauty of London. I highly recommend this.
