It is best to have only 2 destinations within a day instead of 3. Studio tour is a must for any HP fan, even if you're only a fan of the books. The model scale of Hogwarts was amazing! At Oxford, we stayed within the university area, but our guide knew her stuff. Even when most of the group left the walking tour to see more of the HP movie sites, she kept on going for those who remained. It was a great trip, despite the weather.
Loved the Studio Tour! So much from all of the movies there--a must for any HP fan!
Oxford was good to see and it was helpful to have a guide to understand the city and the history.
the pick up information was just slightly confusing got off tube and wasn't sure exactly where meeting point was...finally saw a group of people
The tour left on time and everything went very smoothly. We enjoyed Harry Potter studios and then our walking tour of Oxford. Smartly, they brought in a second tour guide at Oxford to accommodate our large group and she was lovely with children. 2.5 hours was plenty of time at Oxford to walk around and enjoy the bustling city.

It was hassle free and we fully enjoyed the tour!
As a die hard Harry Potter fan, my 14 year old daughter claims this was one of the best days of her life.. In fact, we all loved the tour to this incredible studio. It was magic for all of us, such good fun. Oxford is an incredibly beautiful city filled with amazing gothic architecture and steeped in fascinating history. Andrew, our tour guide was excellent. We absolutely loved this tour and visiting the famous Harry Potter tree in the Cloisters, New College was a highlight. I wish I could remember the name of the other tour guide who accompanied us on the bus from London to the Warner Bros Studio. He was very kind and friendly. A highly recommended tour. Everything went smoothly.
Excellent tour. Harry Potter Studio was such good fun especially for 14 year old daughter. Both tour guides fantastic...Andrew was our tour guide in Oxford. He was so knowledgeable and listening to some of the historical facts was so interesting. Oxford was just stunning. We highly recommend this tour.
WB Studios is on your own, and I recommend paying the extra few pounds to get the audio guide. We used the full 3-hours for this stop as there is a great deal to see. Even with the crowd control timed entry to the venue, the place was crowded and a little difficult to get up close to the viewing. I suppose this is to be expected. The guide was highly informed about Oxford and provided insider's knowledge that could not have been gathered without someone to show you around. Highly recommended.
The Making of Harry Potter was wonderful, the only thing I would change was more time there. There was so much to see and 1/2 day was not enough. Oxford was nice too but Harry was the best part of the day.
The tour was very good and our tour guide was excellent and very useful .. we had so much time to do everything we wanted and I loved oxford city sooo much
We had a fantastic tour from start to finish. our guide was excellent and informative. The Happy Potter tour is a must-see for fans. Save room on your camera for Oxford--it is a beautiful town.
An amazing day.i wish I could do it again today.
BUT, when in Oxford, the guide should have had the information about the 'Great Hall' being closed for several hours to serve lunch. We would certainly have reorganised what we did with our free time in Oxford had we been informed ... Seeing this location was why we went to Oxford in the first place.
Otherwise, all good.
First things first this is an amazing trip and I recommend the actual trip to a 5 star level. The Harry Potter Studio Tour is a must for any Harry Potter fan and the Oxford Tour had an amazing guide that was hilarious, and it's a truly cool town. The 3 star rating that I'm giving it is because of a hiccup that Viator had with the time they put on the itinerary they gave online after I booked it. That itinerary listed the start time as an hour later than it really was, and so obviously I missed the bus there.
I'd also like to add that I have nothing but great things to say about the actual tour company Viator just facilitates the bookings. One of their guides at the meeting point got me in contact with the manager of the company and he got me a cab to the Studio, free of charge, meaning I only missed an hour of the trip. Their level of customer service was amazing and I'd absolutely do business with them again. I'd even do business with Viator again, I'd just caution you to verify your start times to avoid starting a trip off with an unnecessary stress.
If you're a Harry Potter fan you will enjoy this, lots of props and photo opportunities. I did feel that perhaps we spent about an hour too long at the studio, and could have headed to Oxford a little sooner and had more time in Oxford. This is not a guided tour of the studio, you are dropped off at the studio and on your own until you meet back at the bus at the prescribed time. We did have a nice tour guide in Oxford and were given some time to explore on our own but felt rushed, had only about 45 minutes, which we chose to visit the Christ Church College which was a good 10 minute walk each way which only left us about 10 to 15 minutes to shop and or grab a bit to eat. Would have rated this higher had we just had that extra hour here rather than in the so-so cafe at the Studio.
It was pretty much just a bus service to the Warner Bros. tour and to Oxford.
The walking tour of Oxford was only about 10-15 min. of actual guided tour and then we were left on our own to wander with very little guidance. Tour guide was not knowledgeable.
The tour guide was nice/ driver very sketch
This tour was basically a round-trip bus ride from London to Warner Bros Studio and to Oxford. Since this tour attracts many Harry Potter fans it was expected that it would be full of Harry Potter information and interactive discussion during the bus ride, but it was not. A fan of the HP franchise would require more than 3 hours at The Warner Bros. Studios without rushing through. Don't get me wrong, seeing the actual sets, props, costumes, displays gave me a greater appreciation of the movie, but I would have loved to take my time to listen to all of the videos and audio scripts without rushing to get back to the bus. Graduation time in Oxford was fun to see, however because of this a lot of the colleges and buildings were closed to visitors. The Oxford tour guide was lively and informative, however she took us around one main block and was left to explore the town in one hour. This tour is great for those who want to have a glimpse of the Warner Bros Studio and Oxford to say they have been there, not for those who want to enjoy and take their time to appreciate the scenes without rushed. There is lots to see. Thanks.
