The experience with my kids! Meeting people all over the world 🌎… the walk was definitely not for the weak but it was well worth it! I’m glad I did it!
Worth the money, would do again

We had limited time to do something in LA and we’re glad we chose this tour. While technically you can do it on your own I think having a guide made it much more interesting and fun and was well worth the money. Elko was funny and personable and made the experience very entertaining. I would definitely do it again if I ever come back. The tour guide brings water but I do recommend bringing extra if you get out of breath or thirsty easily. The trail is doable even if you’re out of shape (like we are) but it does get a little steep at times. Overall it was a great experience and the views were worth the trek!

I thoroughly enjoyed the guided tour (hike) because of JB (and Scout). He made it fun and interesting. I loved that he took great photos and shared fun facts and history about Griffith Park and the Hollywood sign. This tour is the only way to have this experience!

The tour guide Matt was funny, patient and did a great job sharing the history. I recommend this trup, take plenty of water, proper shoes and be prepared if you take littles. It is a long walk.

Really fun experience, the views were amazing! 🤩 nice way to stay active during vacation! Hike was not too bad, my 4 year old did a big part of it on his own. Matt was an awesome guide.

Be happier with a tour that included a bus from Hollywood Boulevard - a central point. Walk wasn’t as challenging as we thought it would be. But wet weather impaired experience.

This was a great experience. I don’t recommend going and I don’t recommend not going. I’ll let anyone make their decision. But it was a great experience and the walk was just what it is a very long walk. But I did enjoy my time.

Was a great tour and had a great tour guide and his dog Scout. I would suggest to bring a small backpack with extra water. Would’ve been nice to have portable potties along the way. I would recommend to family and friends.

Weather ruined the tour

Unfortunate. The weather really hurt the tour and should have been cancelled. You only do the tour for the view and with the fog, there was no view. This is not the fault of the tour operator, however it should not have gone ahead and a full refund given. Due to the poor weather and no view the tour guide Elko did not have anything to do. He was friendly and entertaining but was really just a buddy to walk with. Didn’t offer anything of extra value and really suffered with the weather ruining the experience.

This was our first time in LA and booked this walk for our first day. Instructions were very clear and the walk was brilliant! JB was our guide and he was great! He gave us info on our walk but kept it fun and made it very enjoyable! Would highly recommend the walk!

I was part of a group of 7 with J.B. as a guide. He was fantastic, provided tons of knowledge about the sign and LA in general, was funny and engaging, and took the most amazing photos. I was solo but had a wonderful time on the hike which was not too hard and enjoyed interacting with people from all over the country and others from different continents. J.B.'s dog Scout was a cute co-tour guide!!
