- Young children are welcome to join this hike tour; we recommend this tour for guests ages 6 and up. Children participating in the hiking tour should be able to hike on their own. NO STROLLERS! For children under 6, we recommend our Original Hollywood Sign Tour!
- NOTE: This Hollywood Sign tour meets OUTSIDE on the street. It does not meet at a residential location. Please be mindful of our neighbors. Your guide will meet you outside at the given address. Thank you!
- Please allow ample time for traffic (welcome to LA!) and for parking. There is free street parking at this location- please follow all signs.

The hike was not so hard but it took a while, which would have been boring with no guide.

Sun finally came out for our walk! Chris our guide was great. We did the 1/2 way point and that had great views of the sign.

I had a great time with Chris who was a superb guide. We were in a small group that was fantastic. I found the journey up to the top to be so worth it and we got up and down with no troubles. Truly stunning up there on the most beautiful day. Chris was warm, kind and very informative.

This was a great tour, worth every penny. Our tour guide Emily was amazing. Super friendly and knowledgeable and really made the experience. The hike itself is great. Amazing views of the whole of LA. It was a perfect start to my solo travels. Thank you Emily!

The tour was suppose to be 2 hours. The guy basically kept coming up with random questions and taking long to drag the time knowing it will only take approximately 20 minutes to get up to the point where we were taken. And he insisted we tip him over and over again as if it was a mandatory part of the tour. So don’t expect much. We finally decided to go on our own to the top of the Hollywood Sign. When initially the tour guide lied and said where he took us was the closest we can get to the sign. But we asked about how to get to the very top where we saw a few people standing and luckily got the chance to get the “closest”. We had to leave the group and do it on our own to do that. And if you want a picture as you see on the profile. You will have to go on your own to the very top where you would be behind the sign and have a breathtaking view which that would definitely be worth the money. On top of that he kept encouraging the group not to go places they had planned seeing, saying they were no good and not worth it and just gross. If someone wants to see a place, guess what? Let them. No place is ever going to be perfect , if that person just wants to take a quick selfie or see that spot that’s okay. You don’t know if maybe that place holds something or is special to that person to talk negative about it. Or joke about how “don’t take pictures or look at that cross over there we don’t care about Jesus we want a picture of you with the Hollywood Sign” a few people where like what. Be respectful of people’s religion, that wasn’t funny at all. But to say don’t go see rich people home that’s just weird and then contradict yourself and talk about rich homes and how someone famous lived on that house halfway up the path makes no sense. To say the tour is 90 minutes and when I said I read it was two hours and to respond 90 minutes it’s 2 hours makes no sense. We went on our own at last we had enough when after just 20 minutes of walking up a path he said we would be turning around and that was the tour. Like are you kidding me that was it? Thank goodness we decided to leave the group and see that amazing view worth so much, don’t let the tour guide miss you out on it

Katy our tour guide was so knowledgeable and informative.
It was a wonderful hike, although we started at 2.45 pm finishing at 5.30 just a beautiful part of the day .
As we finished it was dark, the company should organise transport down the hill as Ubers will not come, reception is bad and you are basically on your own to get down the hill. Dangerous and uncomfortable for women travelling alone.
This company needs to increase the price to allow for that final transport option.
Very important to consider as it was not communicated to the group.

I booked the Official Hollywood sign LA Tour don't waste your money, the guide didn't even take us to the highest point of the sign and it definitely didn't take 2.5 hours, it's more like 40 minutes walk to get where the guide take you and you can get to the sign easly without paying someone to show the way. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY.

The tour shows 2.5 hours and we use 30 min to introduce each other then only 1 hour to the picture site then head back ….. so we decided walk by ourself to the top

Thanks for taking time to leave a review, and after talking to the guide we were able to get a little more clarity on the situation.
The day you did the tour was in the middle of some (uncharacteristically) rainy and foggy days in LA. That day, your guide made the (correct) decision that it wouldn't be safe to continue the tour to the back of the sign (and you possibly even got caught in the pouring rain since you continued the trip the back on your own when the rain once again started falling). It sounds, though, like the guide did not make clear the reasoning for not proceeding to the back of the sign, so we sincerely apologize that your experience was negatively impacted. Please reach out to us directly so we can make this right as our attempts to reach you have gone unanswered.

Even though there was a drizzle of rain the hike was made awesome by our guide…Katie!! She was fun and stopped to explain the stories and history of our adventure. It was a special experience.
