It's just amazing tour we took this time.
The camel ride like we are in Safari. But.... it is in Cabo.
Staff are wonderful and friendly treated us like family.
Love it very much. Will do again.
This was a great, fun and informative tour. A lot of facts about the country and the terrain we were on. Our tour guide Marcel was great. He had a lot of information to share and was very entertaining. Always kept the group laughing. I would highly recommend this tour if you are visiting Cabo.
This tour was wonderful we had a tour guide named Marcel and he was fabulous! He never once made the tour boring he always was making jokes and having everyone laugh. Not only did we have a camel safari ride but we had a nature walk as well as tequila tasting which was super fun!
-Kenny and Britt!
Excellent tour, fun ride on the camel and very knowledgeable guideEnrique
Our trip was excellent but we paid 150 each through your site and could have purchased there for 133 ! That is too much of a difference so will not be booking through you again! Rip-off!
Jonathon was a wonderful guide. The lunch provided was better than most we had at restaurants during our trip. The tequila tasting and tortilla making demo was informational. Highly recommended this tour. You'll get your money's worth. The only item that wasn't perfect/5 star is the DVD we bought with all the pictures had troubles downloading pictures. We are still communicating with the company via email to try to get this resolved.
This excursion was fun and relaxing! Really cool camel ride along the beach - nice breeze and beautiful scenery! My husband and I personally loved the authentic home cooked lunch as well.
This was one unforgettable tour with the Camels. All tour guides were nice and friendly.
I want to call out MARCELINO our group guide, he is one awesome man, he made everyone and everything so pleasant.
tour guides were great! once in a lifetime experience. we did not make the tortillas but tortillas were available at lunch:
What a great day! Don't let any bad review scare you. Very professional company. We met at the marina and left on time. Taken by bus to the ranch 30 minutes away. Inside we met our guide Enrique who was so nice, funny and very informative. We took the ecotour in the 4WD thru the Baja desert and saw the cactus and plants on our way to the camels. The camel ride along the pacific was wonderful. These are rescued camels and you can tell they are well cared for. You can take photos along the way and there is an option to purchase a photo or the photos taken by their photographer which is worth it. The walk thru a small part of the terrain was informative and the Eco tour first class. You finish back at the ranch with a tasty Mexican meal which was extensive and delicious cactus salad is a must to try with cool drinks or beer. Top it off with a tequila tasting and lesson on the different regional tastes, it was well worth the price. Hats off to Enrique, he was a great guide. All in our tour group had a great time. A bus back to the marina with an option for those who wanted to hang out at the marina before heading back to their reset.
Very fun and cool tour. Can check riding a camel off the bucket list. Learned something about the camels, and our tour guide Marcel was fantastic, informative and funny. We also did a short nature walk and Marcel showed us some amazing things. Then had a delicious authentic Mexican lunch prepared by Reina, with refreshments and a tequila tasting. All in all a different experience everyone should try!
Great tour guide (Denny), very entertaining, the tour will last about five hours and includes free hotel shuttle.

This was a very nice, unique activity, enjoyed by all. The staff was great, also included a lunch and tequila tasting.
One big warning, They are very big on selling you an Extremely Overpriced Picture package so they discourage you from taking your own pics. I get the pic package deal all over the world but this was the most expensive I ever encouraged. Statred at 129.00 down to about 25 for just one pic. disregard them and take your own as you do the tour
This was much more fun than anticipated! Beautiful setting, good food and tequila!
The Camel Safari was very informative and educational during the hike. The camels were trained well and they behaved well. The food was good and the tequila taste testing was great. The staff was nice and helpful.
If you are looking for something different to do this is a great tour. The guides are very nice and very funny. The camel ride was great and a once in a lifetime experience- how often do you get to ride a camel on the beach? You also get to have your picture taken with a special camel and give him a treat. Lunch was very good and the tequila tasting that followed gave some good information on how tequila is made and the different types. The kids learned how to make corn tortillas from scratch and got to try their hand at it. Definitely a fun experience.
I booked a Camel ride in Cabo on Christmas. How about that for a bucket list thing!
Pro, Tour was better then I thought. Loved the Camels. Lunch was great and a lots of it.
Cons, Skip the tequila speech.
Chicas was great! Very engaging and knowledgable. The food was to die for at the end. Only downside was not being able to take our own pictures with the camels. Since you're already paying 100USD for the experience, it was annoying to be banned from taking our own photos. There also is no flat rate for buying the CD of pictures, they charge by of people in your party, which is silly since the material cost of 1 CD should not go up depending on how many people are included. Overall, still a fun experience and I would recommend!
The desert tour with David was very entertaining and informative. The food for lunch was all excellent. Best food I and #39;ve had on a tour. The camel ride was short and there was very little time to interact with the animals.
We really enjoyed the Baja Ranch Tour and Camel Safari. The tour guides were fabulous and the camels awesome. The lunch was excellent, including the tequila tasting. The only issue we experienced was the pickup from our resort. The instructions were to meet at the Westin lobby (resort next to ours), however the van went to the Club Regina. We had to call the tour company to find out where they were because it was past the pickup time. Other than the initial transportation issue, we thoroughly enjoyed the tour.
My husband and two adult daughters joined me on this trip. We had to walk down from our resort to the aquarium at the Cabo San Lucas Harbor to get the bus which took us out of town to where they run the camels. We were not permitted to take our own photos with the camels, but rather their photographers took pictures which were quite expensive to buy at the end of the tour Packages @ 100.00 US. We did not buy any. For the price of the tour, they could have included one picture, with the option to buy more, if interested. They put two riders on each camel but I do not think they size up the riders with the size of the camel, rather it was first come, first serve. My husband and daughter are both on the larger side and found themselves on the thinest of the animals. In short order their camel rebelled and sat down and refused to get back up, no matter how much their guide coaxed it along. After only a few feet, camels walk in single, file and escorted by a guide my husband and daughter aborted their ride, for fear of injury, and chose to walk back to our meeting place on their own steam. Next, the walking tour through the dessert to explore fauna and flora was very interesting and our guide was informative. Lastly, the authentic Mexican meal was very good and interesting although they ran out of dessert. They had a wondeful coffee beverage, loaded with sweet cream and chocloate AND, the best part of this expensive adventure was the tequilla tasting. We had several to try and we could have as much as we wished. That was a surprise. Now about the aboprted camel ride, to make up, our tour guide after having my husband complete an incident report presented him with a gift of a large bottle of their local tequilla, which was a very nice consolation prize although the value did not compare to what the aborted rides for two cost. Finally, we were safely driven back to our starting point at the aquarium at the harbor in Cabo San Lucas. All-in-All, this company attempted to take responsibility for the botched day. I recommend they do a better job sizing their animals to their guests so that the guests can enjoy the adventure they paid for and expected to have, and the animals are not made to carry a weight they are not capable of. Thankyou
I did enjoy the trip, our Guide was great however it said we would be going to a tortilla factory and we never did, and if it was suppose to be at the last stop they never mentioned anything about the tortilla's at all. Also the photo's were very expensive so we didn't buy. I would have loved to buy just one or two photo's but that wasn't an option. If there is anyway they still have some of the photo's from our tour and are willing to sell me one or two I would still like that option. Thank you for asking about the experience.

This was a bit of a fiasco. The tour guides were delightful but the trip pretty much wasted our entire day and the expedition was not worth it. First we had to meet the van pick up from our hotel at 7:40 am and a ten minute drive to the main terminal in Cabo San Lucas that became almost an hour. We had to hang around in the facility until 9. Then we had a drive in a van with loud music blaring in our ears for 30 minutes. Nothing scenic on the drive. We arrive at Baja Ranch dressed for 82 degrees in Cabo and it was really cold and windy with no protection from the cold. It would have been so easy to have blankets in the van. Every one of us was shivering the entire tour. Then we waited outside in the cold while one by one each of us was given a photo op with Powder, a delightfully tame camel. But that was a waste of time for us as this took at least 30 minutes, just sitting watching the photographer. The camel ride was next. It was about 20 minutes long. Most men complained it was very uncomfortable, FYI. We then got into a van for an open air and cold ride to a lunch facility. A few brief words about cactuses and then we are ushered into the photo sales facility. We were given an hour to view the photos. Really uncomfortably cold so we hung around in the photo facility to get warm. Lunch was FABULOUS but we were really cold. Toward the end a few blankets came out, but not enough for everyone. Tequila tasting was fun still outside, and then back in the cold van and a bus ride back to Cabo. When we get there, it's 1pm but we are stuck in an incredibly noisey busy terminal to wait until the scheduled van departure, which does not leave until 2pm. We got back to our hotel about 3:45. The entire day gone. It really was unfortunate. We felt chilled for a few hours after leaving the Ranch as well. Not happy. Again, no discredit to the folks at Baja Ranch just the truth.
