Keep your eye out for the manta rays and sea turtles that also inhabit the waters and paddle past the colony of sea lions lying languidly upon the sun-drenched rocks.

Gain insight into local ecology and geology as you cruise past El Arco to the secluded Playa del Amor, a romantic and remote beach accessible only by water. Enjoy dramatic vistas of sea-sculpted boulders as you sail past the landmark.

Arrive at Pelican’s Rock and dock your kayak in order to immerse yourself in the beautiful waters of the bay. Slip on your snorkeling gear and set off in search of lobsters, angelfish, puffers and schools of stingrays.

Return to your kayak and paddle around the picturesque Playa del Amor and enjoy a light snack. Absorb the tranquil atmosphere before sliding back into your kayak for the return journey to Medano Beach to board your minivan and venture back to your hotel or cruise ship port in comfort.

Mikey and Alan we’re beyond amazing. They helped us every step of the way, took greats pics of us and were incredibly professional. Mikey was even from the same town we are in Los Angeles. Small world!

Wow!!! We had such an amazing time with Alex! The tour was just as explained. He gave us a tour around the area on the way to the beach, took beautiful pictures for us with out phones. Gave us refreshments. absolutely amazing. We took the 2PM tour and the waves were kind of strong so it was a struggle at first, but overall worth every penny. Would definitely recommend!!!

There was a little mixup on pickup time from hotel, but they resolved and got us on the afternoon trip. Which was amazing!! Snorkeling was breathtaking!! Would definitely do again.

The tour guides on this excursion were top professionals. They picked us up when and where they said. They were helpful when loading onto the boats and exiting the boats at the beach stops. They provided water and were mindful of cleanup as well.
We saw the arch and had a brief beach stop to play in the water or just walk along the double beaches of Lover's beach and Divorce beach.
The snorkeling was in a nice area away from the many motor boats moving rapidly around. The water was murky due to recent storms but we still saw some fish and had a nice experience.
The paddling was a bit more strenuous than anticipated due to all the traffic but was great way to be active and still see the sights.

High Tide was a great outfitting company that picked us up at our VBRO promptly. They supplied everything they promised and delivered an enjoyable kayak and snorkel adventure. You need to keep in mind that this is a popular site and your group is not the only one in the water. There are other kayak companies and boats all headed to the same sights you are. Try to avoid going on a day when cruise ships are in port. We took the 9:00am time slot and the water was chilly for the snorkeling portion. In March, I would recommend going in the afternoon.

This tour was great. Our guide was very knowledgeable about kayaking and the area. Make sure you bring your own camera for photos.

My only complaint is the kayaking time was a little short. I had hoped for a longer adventure but 30+ minutes was time for the guide to load and unload kayaks.

This is a fun trip on a good weather day. Avoid choppy seas which will make the paddling a lot rougher,. Also be prepared for 45 minutes of steady kayak paddling each way. The snorkeling is for beginners and fairly limited, although there were quite a few fish to see. The crew were great and very helpful. The portable toilets at the launch site were pretty gross with no toilet paper.

It was a water super highway, with motor boats vying for the same space as kayaks.Water was choppy, guides were nice but not that organized. Make sure you come dressed and ready to go cause there's no place to change. We never went to Lovers Beach and the other place advertised - might have been because of the current, but they didn't say. The snokeling was great - lots of fish but again crowded with people. The glass bottom boat was a small square in front of the kayak seat. Nice seeing the arch, and seals so worth doing, but not quite as advertised.
