Absorb the coastal splendour of Cabo San Lucas during a 3-hour stand-up paddleboard and snorkelling experience. Under the guidance of your instructor, you’ll paddle through San Lucas Bay and past El Arco and Playa del Amor (Lover’s Beach) to Pelican Rock — famed for rugged rocks sculpted by the crashing waves. Relax on the powdery sands of the beach and then don a snorkel and plunge into the Caribbean Sea to see tropical marine life. Purchase lunch from numerous street vendors before returning to your departure point in Playa Medano.
After greeting your guide at Playa Medano, collect a bottle of water and your snorkel gear before climbing aboard your stand-up paddleboard. Following your guide, you’ll paddle past spectacular natural landmarks such as El Arco — a rugged sculpture carved by crashing waves.
Marvel at a raucous sea lion colony, absorb the amorous ambience of (Playa del Amor) Lover’s Beach and then cruise onto the shore of Pelican Beach, your resting spot.
After a short respite, don your snorkel and plunge into the inviting water to snorkel and observe tropical fish. If hunger strikes, feel free to purchase food from numerous vendors of traditional Mexican food.
Paddle back to your original departure point on Playa Medano, where you’ll bid your guide farewell.
We went on a rainy December day, but the air and water were at a comfortable temperature, and visibility was fine for paddling. Our guide seemed uninterested in doing the tour, and neither took us to the arch nor snorkeling. Instead, we just paddled up and down the beach. Definitely disappointing.
