What To Expect

Meet your guide at your hotel to begin your half-day city tour of Luang Prabang. Discover the city’s colonial history and rich spiritual heritage as you follow your private guide into the heart of the UNESCO-listed town and admire the French Indochinese buildings and ancient Buddhist temples.

Visit the Royal Palace Museum, where you can marvel at the prized gold Buddha and peek into the living quarters of King Sisavang Vong. Then, continue to Wat Sene, Luang Prabang’s oldest temple, and prepare to be dazzled by the lavish ochre and gold interiors.

You will be picked up from your hotel for a half-day city tour with your own personal guide. Your first stop in the World Heritage town of Luang Prabang is the Royal Palace Museum, which hosts a range of interesting artifacts including a gold Buddha statue. This tour was so much better than...

This tour was so much better than the alms giving tour. The guide spoke good English, very knowledgeable in his explainations of the temples and royal palace visited. The tour guide was a former monk so his knowlegde of the temples were from an insider perspective. Would recommend this tour especially over the poor alms giving tour we went on.
