Good introduction to Lucca. I only stayed for one day, so this was a great way to see the highlights and learn a bit about the history too.
Easy paced, but do wear comfortable shoes.

Our tour guide that day couldn't have been more helpful or friendly. It was a totally enjoyable, though short, tour.

Best 10€ I and #39;ve spent on my trip. My kids were free. Added a church tour for just and additional 2€ admission fee. Lots of good info in 2 hours. It was warm and more than that would have been too long with the kids. She a answered their questions too which was wonderful.

I think this tour is a definite if you have a short amount of time in Lucca.
I visited for just one day and found it very informative.
The tour started at 2pm so I feel that perhaps 11am would be better so that you had the rest of the day to explore what you had covered during the tour. Lucca is an amazing city and a must for anyone visting Tuscany.

The tour guide did an excellent job of explaining the sights and the history of the town, with which I had not been familiar. I was able to find my way around the town on my own after it and was able to stop at some spots the tour didn't cover. This is a more interesting place than I expected. There were great little places to eat. I recommend visiting Lucca and taking this tour.

Roberta was our guide. She was excellent and made the experience real in terms of the history of the town. Also took her time to speak with us in English when the rest of the group were Italian. We never felt left out. Chris and Eileen.
