This tour is a must if staying in Lucerne. The weather was amazing and the views were incredible! To make the most of the time, once up at the stop, use the ice flyer to head to Glacier park as this is where the fun is. You can toboggan down the snow and also tube it down. It was great fun.
Fabulous sled park at the top. Definitely need waterproof shoes and pants. In June it wasn and #39;t that cold as long as you were dry. We used shoe covers (space saving boots that go over tennis shoes) and waterproof pants over leggings for our kids and it worked great. Better gloves (waterproof) key.
Well worth it, even on an overcast day. Make sure you stay with your guide on the way up, and don and #39;t be late when departing, they will leave you.
Love this trip. It was snowing when we visited but foggy and not able to enjoy the scenic view.
Definitely a trip worth considering while going to Switzerland. The cable car ride up the mountain and the ice flyer chairlift are really breathtaking once you get to see how high you really are going! We really had a great time.
This tour was one of the highlights of our trip,it was an amazing experience and our guide Fernando Herrera looked after us brilliantly.
I really enjoyed visiting Mount Titlis, even though we went during a time when it was super foggy and misty. The tour guide was really knowledgeable, specific and helpful, so we never felt lost. And the time given to do the activities on Titlis only the Cliff Walk, Ice Flyer and Glacier Cave were open was more than enough for us. The bus was also very comfortable, and all in all, it made for a great half day adventure! Highly recommend, and would certainly do it again.
Really fun trip, only half a day from lucerne id highly recommend this trip for any one looking to see the mountains! Our weather was great up top
Great trip. I was skeptical at first because I figured i could make it to Engelberg on my own, but after some research i found that the prices would be similar so I just opted to do the tour. I am so glad I did. The tourguide was friendly and informative, and more importantly he made navigating all the gondolas to the summit a breeze. The time limit was not an issue, in fact it was actually the perfect amount of time to see and really take in all the highlights. It should also be noted that weather is essentially a nonfactor. I was worried because it was a really overcast day when we went, but the summit is actually so high up that it is above the clouds. We had nothing but blue skies and sunshine at the top. I would definitely suggest this trip.
This was the most beautiful thing I have ever seen! The glacier cave was pretty anti-climactic but the views themselves were absolutely spectacular! I highly recommend it and although it is to be assumed you should wear warm things, the experience at the top was a whole other level. But again, AMAZING
It was a great trip, with a nice and friendly tour guide. unfortunately there was windstorm and trip was ended earlier. anyway will be back again if have chance
This was an outstanding trip to Mt. Titlis! The views were absolutely breathtaking both from the gondolas and up on top of the Mountain. The guide was enthusiastic and helpful and the bus ride from Lucerne was less than a half an hour. We would take this tour again if we were going back to Lucerne tomorrow! Excellent value for the money and once in a lifetime experience!
Great trip. Our guide was very friendly and helpful. Views from the ice flyer and suspension bridge were amazing. Be prepared for lots of people including skiers during the Christmas/New Year period.
The day may have been foggyu/hazy on the mountain but it was still fun. When we booked the tour, based on other reviews, I wasn't sure how many of the optional adventures we would be able to fit in. We had about 2 hours and 15 minutes on the mountain and wer able to do the ice flyer, suspension bridge and ice cave. I recommend asking the ice flyer attendants to leave the canopy open, even if the weather isn't terrific, because it fogs up quicly when down. I would caution anyne who is afraid of confined spaces to research when the new gondolas are going into operation, because currently the operators are jamming as many people as they can into each of the 2 gondolas necessary to reach the top of Mount Titlis. I am not afraid of confined spaces and thought it was unconfortable.
This trip was amazing the guide Sonia was really nice and gave us enough info and time to enjoy the views and the snow amazing excursion
